HOD 11/7/2020: Stoney Hill, Hole 5 in Newberry, SC

This is a classic “upshot off the tee, second shot drive” hole. It’s a midrange or maybe stable fairway off the tee, looking to get around the corner and stay in the middle or possibly left side of fairway. This sets up a long uphill shot that needs a slight late turn. Usually you end up with a...

Haha, no you aren’t throwing a fh wasp on your second shot.

Has anyone seen any flymart info?

[Innova] McBeth's next signature disc speculation.

"I like Avery a lot. I will not be attempting to join any group to take away a mans bread and butter. Unless his family or gf is loaded." *** I am not suggesting that it be taken from Avery, and I also understand that my opinion and the opinions of maybe 300 people on that FB page don't mean...

[Innova] McBeth's next signature disc speculation.

If anyone is interested, I set up a grassroots FB page called "McBeth Deserves the Destroyer". This was mostly as a conversation starter, but I'd love to generate some momentum that I could send to Innova to show what the fans want (though I'm sure they know a 4x stamped DS would sell). Come join!

What is the oldest course still alive?

At the IDGC they encourage you to putt into that basket, and they bill it as being a basket that Ed welded himself in his garage. I've always thought that was one of the coolest parts of the museum there.

    [Innova] Innova Wombat

I was able to test a wombat today. It is quite flippy. The one I threw had a turn that I would have placed in the -2.5 to -3 range. Thrown hard, flat, and slightly high it turned right and landed about 45 degrees off the line on which it was thrown. The distance wasn't all that great due to the...

Disc golf bag that holds iPad

To answer this: a full size iPad is a tad big for the felt slot. It will fit with a little over a 1/4 inch stopping you from zipping it up. Secure, but not zipped. An iPad mini fits fine. The iPad WILL fit in the GGIS and will zip fully.

    Salient HELIX Bag

I was finally able to play my first round with my new Helix. I put her through 45 holes and rode her hard. A few thoughts: - This bag is big. During my first round I reached for an upshot disc 3 different times and when I didn't see it I figured it must have been left at home. During the break...

    Salient HELIX Bag

Thanks for saving me the trouble, Scoopa! I found that when putting the bag on it was easier with no drink in the holder that ends up on your right side. I kept whacking my elbow. This could also be due to my never having used a backpack bag.

    Salient HELIX Bag

I e-mailed Hillary a tad late last night and got a prompt response this morning with a tracking #. Turns out my bag was on the truck to be delivered today. It got here this afternoon and I immediately loaded it up for a quick first impression review. I unfortunately just got back from playing so...

    uDisc

I love this app. I've used it for a long time. So long that I upgraded phones and lost info in the process. What are the chances for some sort of web integration so that all the data isn't just stored on the phone? I love my running average, but my current running average is based on only about...

flurry of Pendleton King Park reviews

Hey guys, I noticed that my review has two people that "didn't find it helpful" or whatever the wording is. I'm not complaining, but if either of them is reading this I would like some constructive criticism and feedback as to what wasn't helpful. I'd like to review more courses, and I want to...

flurry of Pendleton King Park reviews

I posted an honest review today. It was also my first. What can I say, this thread moved me. I also had a chance to play it back to back days and figured it would be fresh in my mind. I found that for my game it required a very repetitive shot selection off the tee.
