I can vouch for Shady Oaks Park in Orangeville, just a bit outside of Sacramento. 18 hole course with an amazing DG pro shop on the course. Would definitely recommend it!

Played the Rocklin course in CA for the first time today. Started off well (for me) keeping -1 until about hole 8 or 9... Then the back 9 absolutely demolished me.
But hey, hit my first birdie today. (I'm pretty new to actually trying to become better)
Not meaning to hijack this thread, but I'm curious to peoples opinions on this bag vs the DD Soldier. They look pretty equivalent, but the DD is half the price.
Anyone have any input?
By no means am I a teacher, so feel free to take or leave this advice... But I recently learned to apply more pressure with my thumb. Previously, my throws has been flailing a little high and this immediately fixed that. Thanks, strange wise man walking by on the course when I failed my drive.
