From the PDGA Technical Standards page: Mini Marker discs must have a circular shape, with a diameter ranging from 7 cm to 15 cm and a height
not exceeding 3 cm. Mini marker discs can be made from a variety of materials (e.g. plastic, metal,
wood).
Oh yeah, that one was one of the last that I did with my old vinyl. Orcal is much better as you can see in this one. (The blurring is where I made my phone number mostly go away)
I just did my first couple discs with the orcal 651 after moving from a cheaper vinyl and am much happier. Haven't tried painting yet but there are a few guys who are really good who do some amazing things with that method. Probably the best advice I've gotten on dyeing didn't have to do with...

Hell's Gate
Good variety of shots. Inside a state park so it's pretty well maintained. Fairly easy so it'd be good to learn on.
Gravel pads can be iffy. First time there, spiderwebs completely surrounding the area where basket 1 sits so that was kind of gross. A few holes go right along the...

Short and easy
Well maintained, solar powered lights on the baskets, concrete pads, good signage. Great course to learn on. For 9 more holes, Hells Gate Park is only a few miles away.
Shared area so other people can be an issue. Only 9 holes because that's all the room they had to work with.

Cherry Hill(side)
It's a hill so lots of elevation change and great for a hike. Some good wooded holes and some good field holes too. Just off the freeway so it's easy to get to while on a road-trip. Several holes with alt-pin locations.
Still some crossover on the fairways. Ankle-breakers...

Hard to navigate
Beautiful course. Several unique holes that really challenge you. Concrete pads make for good throwing surface on almost every hole. Mostly short, good for learning how to control your disc in tight fairways.
Several crossing fairways, several areas where you have to walk up or...

Jamboree
Great baskets including a practice basket. Lots of long tunnel shots and several holes that have their own unique flair. Fairly easy to navigate, especially since they now have signs up.
300' tunnels can get a little old, lots of ankle-breaker stumps at about 3-4" that can get covered...

HB
Nice pads, good baskets, good variety of holes. Good use of existing space in what used to be a very sketchy park that you did not want to go into at all.
Some long walks between holes. Several blind shots that can be dangerous. Difficult to navigate without someone who knows where they're going.

Sadly Going Away
Concrete pads, fairly easy to navigate, good hole diversity.
Multi-use area that shares space with a ball-golf driving range and a biking trail so you had to watch out for people participating in those areas.
The land this course was on was owned by the University of Idaho and...

DR
Diverse hole types, multiple pin locations on several holes to change it up.
Gets crowded, combine that with several crossing/somewhat shared fairways and there is a lot of potential for disaster. One hole has you tee off from up high on a hillside and then you have to walk down the hill...

Short and open, good for a quick round when you don't have a lot of time to mess around.
First three holes go over a large gravel parking lot that can trash your discs even if you have a good throw. University has decided that they are going for a "natural" look to the course so they don't mow...

Lots of open shots so it's a good learning course. Local league does their best to keep tees, baskets, and signs up to par with minimal help from the city.
Public park so it has the tendency to get a bit crowded on nice days. Pads, baskets, and signs could use some work but are good considering...
