Review by inscho in course The Rock at Stonewall

4.00 star(s) North Carolina Gem The Rock hosts a variety of different terrain types. The course is beautifully manicured both in its fairways and greens. What I loved most was the scenic tee areas overlooking breathtaking views. The Rock may seem like an open distance driving marathon but can bite quickly...

    [Other] Streamline Discs by MVP

I've been throwing the Pilot since it released and find it absolute money for tailwind/relatively calm headwind drives and upshots. For drives, she pops right up from a hyzer release and locks onto a line to a predictable finish. For upshots, the negative turn allows me to back off the speed a...

[Other] The Stamp A Day Thread!

Out Of Bounds Series #1 I recently worked this up for a fellow gyronaut. This is just a dual stamp mock up on Plasma. This idea stems from fantastical ideas about what lurks hidden, as your disc takes a plunge into the unknown. Out Of Bounds Series #1 explores the depths of an impossible...

Review by inscho in course Horizons Park

3.50 star(s) Horizons Park Beautiful course in Rural Hall/Winston-Salem area. The park is smaller than most but offers a refreshing view of Sauratown and Pilot Mountain. The course has some short holes but to get through trees in the middle, you need to be accurate. A lot of ace run opportunities...

    Horizons Park - Winston-Salem, NC

I know this thread is old but I wanted to revive it with all the work being done on this course as of late. I think it deserves that much and I'm going to updated my review I did years ago to reflect it. I just want to make sure I got the scoop right. Let me know if any of these are off for the...

[Other] The Stamp A Day Thread!

Here's a stamp I did in 2015 for the 17th Great 8. You have to conquer 8 courses in a single day across the Raleigh, NC area with a chosen partner. I was brave enough to tackle the stamp.... but not the event.

[Other] The Stamp A Day Thread!

Here's a recent one that dropped. USDGC "Paul McBeth Commemorative" Roc. 700 produced. All gobbled up by the USDGC Partners. This one took a bit to iron out but you can find the development blog here: http://www.mikeinscho.com/blog/paul-mcbeth-commemorative

[Other] The Stamp A Day Thread!

Thanks all! @Reniger- yeah man, TD said the same thing. Epic journey and the fury of the mountain course awaits. The calm before the storm. I dig that a lot.

[Other] The Stamp A Day Thread!

Back from my hiatus! I haven't forgotten about DGCR...I've just... taken a bit of vacation from it. I had no idea this thread existed or I probably would've posted more these past few years. --This stamp was commissioned by MVP Disc Sports in tandem with an A-Tier Open event they're sponsoring...

I'm definitely interested, just like I was back when Destroyers got the Blizzard treatment. Hope this stuff is steps above the rest. Fission Photon!

    [MVP] MVP Tesla

I never thought of this but would a lower weight Tesla still have the same amount of fade as a 170+? Could someone throw a lightweight Tesla and say it flies like a slightly more stable Inertia? Just curious for those who throw different weighted Tesla's, often.
