Those are basically identical to the DGA straps. I had a set and they were comfy but the length adjusters do slide very easily. Unless you wear your straps fully extended you will need to figure out a way to lock them. I remember some people mentioning safety pins holding them in place pretty...
Call Marshall St. and have them give you an idea of the feel of what they have in stock. Most of my organics are fairly stiff but when I went to reorder Hoey told me their current stock was fairly soft (this was was about 6 months ago). Organics don't have a set firmness.
