But I enjoy the edgy jitters before a tournament starts. I even try to increase them by getting pumped up to some music (metal, in my case). Those jitters just kinda help me feel super focused.
REALLY sucks that Kilgus is involved in this. Hopefully he doesnt crap the bed, overpromise and underdeliver to anyone, and keeps a decent reputation for disc golf in general with the ESPN networks. I know he paid for the broadcast, but he needs to followup with a decent showing and audience.
I could see this happening if you threw a BOMB with an understable disc or Epic, but not with a TB or FB. I also throw a FB thumber about 300', and it's nowhere close to having two complete flips.
If youre referring to calling players names on cards and/or starting hole then they still do that here for EVERY tournament with a shotgun start. I've never seen it any other way, and am positive our players would be seriously confused otherwise. I think we're about 5-10 years behind the curve...
