Bump?

I know Vale is more of a downhill skiing and show boarding destination during January. However, are there any disc golf courses near the area that wouldn't be too crazy for a round of winter disc golf?

I'd like to be able to use a pretty aggressive run-up in the off season, and I hear the coil variety (YakTrax) have a tendency to be a little flimsy. Are the microspikes just too cumbersome for winter DG?

I'm looking for some serious slip prevention for those iced up tee boxes. Anyone have an experience with these bad boys? My current boots are pretty terrible on ice, but they're waterproof and provide plenty of ankle support.
