Those sound similar to the 2017 Philo Destroyers that I have: flat wing, easier to throw. I tried a couple other years' versions and none were quite like the 2017s, so these 2023 editions sound interesting.

lol Either DX or KC will be good, can't really go wrong. If you want to cycle through them faster then go with DX, otherwise KC. If you only carry one Roc to pair with the Comet then probably KC.

Yeah hopefully you get one of the good ones, but if you get one that's too domey you can use the hot water method to knock down some of the dome.

Depending on which run the Champ thrower came from you may get a beefier Roc or simply one that is like a fresh KC and stays that way longer. Either way, still a good disc to have. Heads up though if you are expecting a more OS Roc.

Expanded to 5 discs and a towel: Classic Aviar Nexus Firefly DX Roc Champ Teebird Star Roadrunner No complaints with the discs; for the most part they flew as expected. The course/conditions didn’t call for much more, but I could see myself missing a Firebird and a Wraith.
