3.50 star(s)
Quick and pleasant
A serene, tree-lined park in a region without much green space
Nice mix of shot shapes and distances
Very quick flow between holes
Nice tree obstacles but no "rough"
No parking lot, trash can, or any amenities
A very quick and pleasant 9 holes! Perfect for a lazy Saturday...

Pleasant 9holes
Nice variety of shot shapes and distances.
Beautiful trees on a few holes
Unmowed. Fairway was waist high on hole 4 and knee high on many holes.
A couple long walks between holes (including across a parking lot) and no directional signage.
Great start to a course! Put 9 more...
Great throwers aren't always good teachers, and good teachers don't have to be great throwers. Overthrow's videos are way more informative and useful than something like Gannon Buhr's "How to Throw Far" video, despite Gannon having double the distance.
Nick Saban and Coach K weren't very good...
Eagles are beefy boiz. I've been a Teebird3 guy, but recently got a champion and a '22 Barsby. On BHs neither turns at all - they fly like mini-firebirds. I'm getting some beautiful -1/3 S-turns out of my forehands with them though.
Hoping to beat the snot out of the Barsby and see if I can get...
People don't seem to realize this - trying to improve form and trying to compete CANNOT occur simultaneously!
If you could, overnight, add 50' to your drives - you would be a far worse disc golfer the next day. None of your frisbees would fly the same and you would have an impossible time...
I had a love affair with the Aviar3 for the straight forehand, but lately I've been going with a beat Jawbreaker Zone instead. The zone is just so reliable, whereas the Aviar3s occasionally turn and burn for me. Also I've been working on Zone FH flex shots instead of Aviar3 FH turnovers - Zones...
Whatever hits the gap. I'm more comfortable with FH as well, but I'm a FH-dominant player.
You should be able to ignore the trees with the BH and just say "I'm going to throw my frisbee there" and do it, and you should have a frisbee that flies straight for 250'.
I really don't see a need for a disc in between a Zone and a Firebird/Raptor, but that's just me. Simplify your bag and just dial in the discs you throw.
It's better to be dialed in with a 4-speed and a 9-speed OS pair than it is to have a 4, 6, 7, and 9 speed available to you but not be 100%...
Hello! I’m 5’4” been playing for about a year and a 1/2 seriously. I normally throw about 300ft and can sometimes get a little bit more on a big full flex with a hades. This throw was an anomaly: I ranged it at 360 and it all just felt right so what am I doing right and wrong here:) and how do I...
Weather's getting cold, so I pulled out a GStar Wraith. The grip at 45F is great, and it flies remarkably similar to my favorite seasoned Star Wraith. FH hyzer flip-to-flat is my favorite shot with it.
You're probably better off getting a fresh Champ/Glow/Star Wraith and keeping the Halo as the beefy one. Halo is way more overstable than any other plastic.
Perpetually Longer Swing Drill?
Somewhat discouraging! I've worked on the one-leg drill, legs together drill, and throwing on a downhill lie (which feels like the one-leg drill), and maybe I've derived the spin-in-place from those?
I'm not sure if I'm even doing the Perpetually Longer Swing...
Am I heading in the right direction?
Welp, COVID knocked me on my ass for a week but I'm back at it! Two vids - first is side view: one rep with a pause at the weight shift and one rep fluid. Second is one fluid rep rear view.
