I love these threads. To the OP, those guys that are not returning discs are douche canoes. You are karmically allowed to set their car on fire by lighting a bag of feces in the drivers seat of said car. However explaining to law enforcement why you are justified in committing arson will be a...
The one time I played disc golf on a golf course I was so bored after three holes. The distances were in yards so that 400 yard par four was a monster. I paid for eighteen but only played twelve because I only wanted to play three holes over. I did get a cart with my round so that's something.:\...
Finder's fee for a disc thrown in a pond, sure. Send the person who finds my disc a mailing label or prepaid envelope, sure. Five bucks for a DX Cobra available almost anywhere discs are sold, laugh uncontrollably into the phone until they hang up.
For what its worth, I have never had discs...
Good on you for turning them in. I feel you would also call numbers and make reasonable attempts to return discs. This is a better found disc tread than usual.
Personally I don't feel right keeping a found disc. That's just me though. And the local PIAS will let you drop off found discs if a...
But seriously opto is what all champy plastic wants to be. Grippy and almost indestructible. Gold line isn't as grippy in my opinion but it makes a pretty Frisbee. I haven't throw any moonshine but Lat plastic is usually great. Zero hard is a better base than any other I have handled.
Another vote for soft. If you look around you can find chalky, soft wizards. You could go medium if you don't care about pdga legal. I just got a used medium wizard that is beat and still is rock hard. Still grippy though.
I agree that the Mace doesn't have much if any glide. I would put the flight numbers at 4/3/0/3. That is with my noodle arm crushing these out to about 180. After beating in I would put the numbers somewhere around 4/4/0/2. Zero hard plastic is amazing. I really want a river in it.
Yep zero hard. I have stock stamped in my bag right now. I also have some first run stamped one waiting. I've thrown the first runs and the stock stamps side by side and haven't noticed a difference. The zero hard plastic is awesome. All the base plastic grippyness and its holding up great. I do...
I jumped in on cycling Maces. I've been using the same one since October and it is a tank. Still no turn and just starting to lose its fade. I would intentionally throw into a tree several times a round to accelerate the wear. Still have a Drone and a Comet to handle the extreme ends of the...
Warship. I no one around here throws one. Doesn't get a lot of love on here either. I use mine for tunnel shot, approaches, tee shots. Its the go to disc in my bag and has been for nineish months. And glide, the glide gets commented on every time I play with new people.
This. The Wolf was the first mid I threw well. After I started turning it over I got a Hawk. That worked for a while until I started turning with more power. A Hawk should fly straight with forward fade. I'd still be interested in a Hawk in Z or FLX.
Google. When I got started playing I googled disc golf pro shops and started clicking. Same way I found this site. Googled disc golf courses and this was number one.
