Pure Hyzer Productions - Legit Final Round Coverage Videos!

Thanks for the coverage! By chance, do you happen to be in Sweden right now? There is a PDGA Major happening and I would love to see some footage.

Normal stability disc for Thumber? (Kaxe)

I agree with JR. The Kaxe has a pretty beefy rim. It is half mid-range and half fairway. That K1 plastic is excellent though. I haven't touched K2.

Video clips by jr, lcgm8, mafa and others

JR what's with the lack of coverage for the Scandinavian Open? Is anybody out there filming? The only thing I have seen so far is a 6 minute highlight from Lat 64 of Wednesday's round. Are you going to be filming the European Open?

    salient driver

I agree with your findings. It is horrible in the wind. In calm conditions, it resembles a Beast but slightly faster.

    Making discs from scratch?!

It's usually a blend of polymers and other additives for weight, etc. Polyurethane, polyethylene, polypropylene are all used. Detailed discussion can be found here... http://www.discgolfreview.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=25220%5Dihv

How can I remove the haze on stored Champion plastic discs?

Why are you so concerned about the haze? Are you worried about resale value? The polish marks are a non-issue. Just throw them. Vinegar might work to remove the haze.

    What is a course pro?

I don't know that there is a clear cut definition. Ball golf courses usually employ a course pro to provide lessons and to give advice on maintenance/improvements but disc golf courses don't have a country club type setting where there would be demand for such a thing (and people willing to pay...

    midrange discs over-rated ??

Liar, I saw you throwing a Comet at Stony Creek just last week.

Vibram Discs (don't get caught without your rubber)

I guess these are being sent to testers... I got the Notch in the mail on Saturday. Did you get one DgDave?

Vibram Discs (don't get caught without your rubber)

Per facebook, two new fairways have been sent for PDGA approval... Arch and Notch. Initial descriptions make it sound like they are close to the Trak and Ascent in terms of stability. These didn't get sent to the tester team unfortunately but I can't complain... it's great to finally see...

    Stringbean's Bag (UPDATED)

I bought one in standard plastic a few weeks ago. I liked it a lot so I bought three more.

    Stringbean's Bag (UPDATED)

I've been doing really well with this line-up. 16 discs listed but I usually only carry 12-14 depending on the course. Vibram is starting to grow on me. Putters Wizard - putting putter M Sole - Upshots & Drives BT Harp Mids M Ibex - I lost my three year old Super Stingray but this feels...

    Stuck at 360ft

It sounds like you are over-rotating your hips in the backswing and then have no chance to brace properly with your plant foot. I recommend trying to keep your hips neutral through the backswing (turn your shoulders back, not your hips) and focus on bracing hard with your plant foot prior to...

do YOU have an unnatural desire for the RHYNO and TANK ?????

I just purchased a Champion Tank (Nick Hyde Memorial) off the HB website. I don't putt with it but it is amazing for upshots and off the tee to around 220 feet. The regular production Tanks are too soft and lose shape just from sitting in the bag. The champ is perfect... straight in any wind...

Vibram Discs (don't get caught without your rubber)

I shared the same experience. 154 M and made a great roller. The rim was too shallow. I guess they couldn't produce it in higher weights due to the excess flashing/scrap. They will make adjustments and hopefully come up with something usable.
