Tricky Course
Last review was in 2013 so things have changed a lot.
- There is a good mix of wooded, open, and risky throws. The trees are not super dense to where you will be playing pinball but they are still well placed and frequent to where you have to use finesse and technique to get...

They have a PDGA approved baskets at each of the holes. Wooden post that tell you which hole you are at and a layout that is fun and challenging.

The baskets are temporary. They aren't permanent baskets.
Really small tee boxes.
Each hole is underneath 150 ft.
It's essentially a course for little kids...

Wooded course
Enjoyable course. Good signage and concrete boxes. Offers different throws and challenges. Has a unique feeling of being in a forest with no idea which way is the parking lot. Definitely worth playing.
Some of the signs were knocked down. Even though they offer two tee boxes there...

Beautiful Course
Neatly cut, signage helps a lot when walking through the course. Multiple pin placements and nice concrete tee pads. It kept changing the game play and kept you thinking on how you were going to throw your next disc. Water hazards puts a bit of risk into it so it makes things...
Tierra Alta Disc Golf Course
If anyone is still looking at this thread, there is a new disc golf course in Boca Chica, Dominican Republic, very close to the capital. Its 9-holes with Dynamic Discs Veteran Baskets, neatly cut grass, facilities, and a Dominican meal. You do have to make an...
This is a flyover of some of the disc golf holes at Tierra Alta. We also added a couple of photos and videos of the Dominicans having their first experience playing the sport.
