Still working out how to get there, but I checked into my Moab hotel today. Anyone down for a morning adventure round tomorrow? PM me if interested!

    CA-CO-OK-NC-PA-OH-IL-MI-WI... LOTS OF INPUT NEEDED!

Thx for all input so far... Walnut Creek near Charlottesville and Monticello looks fabulous! Thanks for that one. I'm trying to avoid 80 as much as possible, but I'm not sure what's in upstate PA that would draw me up there. So, Morraine is a possiblity. OMG! That course looks like a monster...

    CA-CO-OK-NC-PA-OH-IL-MI-WI... LOTS OF INPUT NEEDED!

So I'm taking a ginormous road trip with my wife and kid that will include some discing between national parks. Sometimes they'll join me on the course but often I'll be solo, especially for the monster courses. Our route starts in NorCal, heads to Charlotte, then north to the Poconos (PA) and...

    The Pillow Case

I'm trying to get a pic of the pillow case. He's resisting. Guess he's just not that proud of his sack. ;) Good ideas about a less stable mid (stingray/coyote/mako) and leopard suggestions... I got that r-pro boss a while back, but after a few eucalyptus-smacks (sounds like the worst cereal...

    The Pillow Case

Though he claims it's some sort of garment bag leftover from his long-past days as a haberdasher, it's a f*&^ing pillowcase and he carries his discs in it. :| Thanks to a cash card from a major nationwide retailer he will be adding a few new discs to the pillowcase. Please critique his...

    Keen 'Delaveaga' shoe

I would get the same size as your Newports. At worlds I just popped off my Keen Newport, showed the Keen guys, and they gave me the same size in the Daylas. I've been disc-golf only in them ever since and they're holding up great.

    Regaining distance at altitude?

The best high-altitude advice I got was from the King (of the lake) who suggested pulling any 150-class discs out of my trunk to huck when the air gets thin. 150-slightly-beat-dx-wraith=$$$$$$$$$ when you're over a mile high.

2011 PDGA Pro World Disc Golf Championships: Monterey Bay, California

Semis & Finals for Open Anyone know whether the 9 temp holes are going to be used tomorrow for the semis or finals? Or will it just be the original Pinto Championship 18?

You guys can rest easy now that I've been hooked up with some fellow campers. :hfive: Good luck out there.

    King of the Lake AM

Alrighty, I'm signed up in a ratings-appropriate division. I will also be camping  though currently by myself :(. I'm looking at camping just south of truckee on the river or martis creek lake on thurs/fri nights if the nicer camping by the lake is full w/o cancellations. Then, sat night...

    King of the Lake AM

You know, Peterb, you wouldn't say that if you saw me bounce repeated putts inside of 20 feet off the front of the cage at La Raza yesterday morning on my way to a 9-hole score of 32. If it weren't for my inconsistent drives, shoddy upshots and crap-bag putting, I'd be DOMINATING the KOTL NT!

    King of the Lake AM

I'm on the fence about this tourney. I heard the players packs were weak last year, but I have a pass from the wife for the weekend. Any thoughts on the 2011 Am version of KOTL? I'd like to camp. North lake for thurs/fri nights, then south lake somewhere sat night. Any folks playing KOTL and...

    Elbow Injury - Help

I felt a "sproiiiiiiiing!!!" in my elbow last year on a forehand flick toward the end of the season. Based on the location of the soreness I diagnosed it as an ulnar collateral ligament sprain, not tennis elbow. I kept throwing and it kept hurting. Then after the Stafford Lake tourney, I rested...
