Over the last 19 years I have been very fortunate to work in several managerial positions from entry to executive levels. I have managed service driven customer satisfaction unit facilities like Dominos Pizza and Papa John's Pizza. My father owned several Domino's units and supervised other Franchises. My father became ill and was given a medical leave and for seven years, I was given the task to manage his business affairs. At that time, I was the youngest manager in the regional area and the only Corporate and Franchise supervisor. During this new transition, I was given new job duties which consisted of basic accounting, payroll, monthly, quarterly and annual statements. I was also responsible for the reconciliations for book keeping and the organization of year ending documents for tax purposes.
Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work both as a laborer and manager in two start up manufacturing plants and numerous start up programs at Johnson Controls, Toyota Manufacturing, Toyo Seat Inc., and Kokoku Rubber Inc. While working at these company's, I performed customer based development, planning, sales projections, year to year histograms for comparison of business, Policy Development, Employee Relations, Customer relations and Scheduling. (Multi business units at the same time) I have also consulted in four shop operation set-up and had successful launches.
I am currently employed with Kokoku Rubber Inc. and have been with the company full time for the past five years. During my time here, I have been involved in the set up and maintaining of Inventory Control, Project Management and Industrial Safety. (Zinger Miller and Mildred Ramsey; Supervisor) I have been fortunate enough to be included in the certifications and launching of ISO9000, 9001, 9002, QS.9000, TS16949 Systems, ISO14001, and Green Partner. I have incorporated a Budget Setup and maintain the company's business plan. Other activities and responsibilities have included Kaizen teaching, various on the job training programs, document control and chemical MSDS document control. I am currently licensed in Life Insurance thru Grange Life Insurance and previously banking industries through Citi Bank's Primerica Financial services since 2002 to 2006. This has included training classes for current agents and training in the field with new agents. As well as advertising in the community by setting up booths for Spanish and English presentations. This has been the third year of advertising locally and includes this years Latino/ Hispanic festival. Other responsibilities consist of writing insurance policies, customer service issues, data collection, and loan originator for mortgages, second mortgages, consolidation loans and student loans. This opportunity has let me help families with Financial needs Analysis and develop a comprehensive structured approach for families to use as a guide to help save money, cut debt load, and planning for the future.
I feel that this is the next step for me to proceed into "New business Development", management position. I would like to proceed further and expand my development in the key areas in business preparation for correct business documentation, developing a long term client based service relationship and understanding of the BJM & Associates company as well as the employment industries in medical, Accounting Legal and I.T..
