I've played for years, but still have a weak arm. I've had a lot of problems with my right shoulder (dislocations), and have been advised to have surgery, but never have. In spite of my weak drives, I have a strong approach game, and even if I can never be good enough for tournament play, I will always enjoy playing casually.

I first played disc golf in junior high or high school, many many years ago. As kids, we used a freebie disc that had a local bank logo on it, and a Aerobie ring.

Now, I live in Champaign/Urbana, home of the weakest course you'd ever expect to see in a campus town. I've written to our park district and made phone calls, but they seem to have no plans to build another course for the next 8 years.

I want to see disc golf grow to be a popular sport here in this area, so I've travelled to other nearby courses, and written reviews here to help the growth of the sport. Maybe someday I'll build my own course :)
