Cons: tee pads are tough to find if you don't know where they are
natural tees are like divets

Other Thoughts: overall this is a great course not to long but not to short, offers several opportunities for birdies
Pros: Well groomed, signs, easy to navigate. not much danger of losing plastic.
Cons: Very plain and basic course, very few technical shots. Very long drive from Buffalo and Surrounding area, especially from the southtowns where I live, not really worth the drive, only went there because we made the trip to Joe Davis.
Other Thoughts: <------ About going there again.

Pros: Nice easy little course. Well maintained (as long as the government isn't trying to close the park). Signs make this easy to navigate. The tunnel-holes through the trees are pretty nice signature holes. There are a few other holes where you really need to throw a laser to par the hole, as hitting an early tree can be devastating.
Cons: Plain and simple, nothing really interesting or different. It's pretty level, not much elevation. Lots of straight shots, with trees here and there. There are some OB's that arent' clearly defined (halfway up the ditch at certain parts)
Other Thoughts: This course will be sweet in 5-10 years when young trees "grow up" and make the place more interesting.
Pros: Beginner friendly course. Signs on each hole.
Cons: No elevation changes and its a very flat course. The closest place to buy any beverages is in Ransomevilll which is about a town four or five miles over so remember to bring your own. You also play along side the road so if you over shoot to far to the right you may have to take a stroke from the street or like this player had to shoot from someones front lawn.
Other Thoughts: This course is very straight forward no whistles or bells. Altho slightly deceaving with the difficulty there are some very well placed holes in some thick trees to make for some tougher shots.

Pros: really a nice course, had a great time. very scenic with the lake near by.
Cons: always windy near the lake so you will be battling against it all day
Other Thoughts: i really enjoyed playing here well laid out and kept very clean

Pros: There are a variety of shots. Its right along the lake and if you walk down there you can see Toronto.
Cons: While its an enjoyable course it's just not challenging. It plays way to close to the road sometimes.
Other Thoughts: you can jump on the parkway on Rochester and it takes you straight to this course.

Pros: Good signage to help you navigate. Multiple tees for all skill levels. Uncrowded area of the park so you will have the course to yourself and the other discers, i.e. no random people.
Cons: Wide open for the most part lets the wind get to your disc. Some holes very close to road, very unsafe. Some holes have very little room for your drive to go anywhere.
Other Thoughts: Still a very enjoyable round on the shores of lake ontario. Not many places to lose discs here.

Pros: Easy to locate, very nice tee signs at every hole with indication of location to next tee. Very well maintained fairways, baskets all in good condition.
Cons: Never ending wind, very wet throughout almost to the point of being unplayable. Some awkward transitions particularly from # 9 to # 10 where you go through the playing area for # 5 and from # 12 to # 13 which first timers will need a map for.
Other Thoughts: Holy smokes! The wind wrecked havoc with my entire game from drives that turned into rollers to putts that floated up, up, and away. There must have been a monsoon the day before, cause this couse was water-loggged. Bring a change of shoes, socks and pants if playing wet. Hole # 7 was pretty cool with the double row of trees linning the fairway, and # 8 was the same coming back. Couple of birdie possibilities here even for the casual player and one (# 11) good ace chance even. It was cold and windy the day I played (and did I mention the water?) so it's hard to tell how much park usage would affect the game. Looked to me like the course could go through some picnic areas and # 15 come awfully close to a playground. May rate it better under nicer conditions.

Pros: Well-maintained park setting with a reasonably good course flow.
While none of the holes here should be truly challenging, there's just enough variety to keep things interesting. A couple require precise, straight drives down alleys flanked by rows of pine trees, there are a few long open fairways, and also some short birdie magnets.

Cons: Red tees are excessively short, giving ladies a *big* advantage in league play. Few (if any) risk-reward scenarios. Casual water seems to pool in many areas during spring thaw or after heavy rains.
Other Thoughts: Overall, Wilson isn't half bad, even though it plays on the easy side. Its major downfall is being located 15-20 minutes north of Joseph Davis Park, which boasts a similar novice-friendly difficulty level, concrete teepads vs. Wilson's grass, 9 more holes, and greater tranquility.
For anyone heading up from Buffalo or points south, there's little reason to drive directly past Joe D in favor of an inferior and more remote course.

Pros: This Course is always very well kept. The grass is always cut so you can do your rollers here if this is your thing. There are a lot of birdie chances out there. Can very easily shoot under par on this one.
Cons: Hole 2 and hole 11 need to go. Talks have been going on to loop course around past 7 and 8 and that would make this course much better. Hole 8 has grown in a lot and needs to be trimmed up.
Other Thoughts: All and all this is an average course at best. If you are in the Niagara region and want a course that is a challenge go to emery park. It takes almost an hour to get there but it is worth it.
