Pros: Course is located in a very wooded part of Mohawk park, which contains another course very close to this one. There are a lot of technical holes that will test your accuracy. All of the fairways were clear and the trees weren't overgrown. There's a lot of variety of holes at Blackhawk. Anything from a 280 ft. anhyzer hole to a 800 ft. S curve hole. The distances were a good variety also. The water holes provide a good challenge, but if you don't want to risk a disc you can tee off from one of the short tees. Dual tees are great. All are concrete and are great if you have a younger or new player.Tee pads were textured nicely. Even on a rainy day, you can get plenty of grip. Baskets were DISCatchers and were in great condition. Baskets are very visible from the tee. Tee signs were nice (when they were there). Navigation was fairly easy since one part of the basket is painted to show where the next tee is.
Cons: No elevation at all. That is expected in Oklahoma, but there's not any elevation changes. It really is the only thing that keeps this course from being a perfect design. Several of the tee signs were out of the ground and a few of them were missing. There's a lot of graffiti on the baskets. A few of the walks to the next hole can be long or confusing. There were a few non-discers on some holes. One guy was fishing in the pond and one guy was "wild onion hunting?".
Other Thoughts: I really enjoyed this course. It was very challenging, but not ridiculously hard. My favorite part of this course is that there are legitimate par 4's and 5s. You should definitely play this course if you are ever in the area.

Pros: Well maintained and well laid out course. You need to be able to throw all types of shots here. Tight gaps, short and long, hyzer, turn-over, and the baskets are all well protected so putting around obstructions is a must. If you enjoy wooded courses you will like this one. There are a few holes that enter into large clearings in the woods but trees are still a factor.

Two sets of tees level the playing field for those with not as big an arm.
Cons: A high possibility of losing discs. Very tall grass off the main path in the woods when I played cost me some time searching for discs. Some areas can be very wet and marshy. holes 8,9, and 10 all play around a very large, deep and murky pond so if you go in it is a goner.
Other Thoughts: Only play here if you want to be challenged. This is a championship level course. Very tight fairways, thick and tall underbrush off the beaten path and some water in play.

In the same park is the RedHawk Course. I did not have the chance to play it, but a local told me that it is more open and a bit longer.

Pros: Great and challenging course. This course will deffinately test your skill at disc golf. Course is beautiful and well kept. Multiple tees, good signs, and an awesome course in general. Lots of trees also ensure that theres no wind to mess up your shots on those long drives.
Cons: It had rained the day before we played so course was really muddy and had some water holes. Made the course even harder. Lots of trees but rather than be a hindrance they were a nice challenge and provided many different ways to throw.
Other Thoughts: Course is a nice challenge and fun to play. On three holes you end up playing around a pond and your right next to it the entire time. Make sure to bring a floating disc or be confident in your throws. A great course and a recommended play for anyone.
