New Layout rocks

Pros: New tee pads, new layouts, new signs. Lots of energy going into course improvement. Super friendly locals, and pretty views. Challenging lines make you pay if you get a bad kick. Great DGA baskets. I reall enjoyed 7,8, 16, 10.
Cons: Tough to read tee box signage. Lack of par 4 or fives. But it isn't even a fair criticism, based on land they had to work with. New lay out could use a little more pruning of dead trees on 10, 17.
Other Thoughts: This course played better than the older reviews would lead you to believe. It is the home of a burgeoning disc golf community and is worth checking out.

Pros: This is a great course for mixed company. I brought my wife and my sisters-in-law to enjoy time together in the wooded setting. The shots are wonderfully technical, but the best part is the wooded setting for a hot day on the Cape (when many would rather be cutting the heat out on the beach so the course was accessible (one group every three baskets, more or less)). Many hippie-era late baby-boomers the first time I played the course - many with tie-died shirts. That was lovely.
Cons: I'm easy. There were no cons what-so-ever. Perhaps the basket location on 18 but we just used the practice basket in the middle of the field as an alternate. Issue solved.
Other Thoughts: Traffic can be very busy as you travel to the more secluded setting in which the course is laid out. Don't make any wrong turns as coming back on the main roads from a side street might take a while. Give yourself some extra time before and after the round to schedule other activities.

Don't let the lack of Distance fool you.
Pros: New and Improved Excellent all Par 3 Course.
-New Modified and Leveled Tee Boxes with Gravel/Stone.
-New Tee Signs which are custom handmade.
-A few holes have been lengthened/extended which -includes 3,5,11, and 14.
-New up and down hill pathway trails to the 10th and 12th tee.
-The back 9 offers longer par 3's with wider fairways with some elevation change.
Cons: Too Many Trees
-More Course Maintenance such as dead debris removal, removal of dead branches for safety reasons.
Clean up some of the roughs.
-The club got permit form the down the burn dead debris this winter.
Other Thoughts: A lot of major work has been done to the course by the Cape Cod Disc Club over the past six months. The course recently just held it's first PDGA tournament. The event was such a huge success that this tournament will be held next year. This PDGA will be held again next for Summer of 2012.
This course allows you to work on your short game, because there are a lot of narrow fairways, and you might hit a few trees if your not use to a short wooded narrow course. On some holes for more experienced players all you need to do is pull out your putter. The front 9 offers many birdie opportunities. This offers short par 3's which are getting more technical with new improvements and will continue to get more technical. The narrow tight fairways make up for the lack of distance. Hole 11 is Downhill right which is tough to birdie. This can be a nightmare hole for some players on their bad day. Play here, this course is improving more and more. The guys are slowly but surely lengthening the course.
