Pros: Course has accuracy shots and a few good drive opportunities. Good teepads and nice signs for the holes. Not bad for beginners.
Cons: Park traffic can interfere with play. Some shots do not have legitimate paths to throw down (some on the front 9). Difficult to find first tee for visitors.
Other Thoughts: This course gives you an opportunity to throw a few different shots and many holes are very short. The length is somewhat of a pro and a con at the same time. The good thing is that, if you are less than impressed, there are three courses within a few miles.
Would not recommend a thumber over the tennis courts (# 15).

Pros: Great all-around course with the first ten holes being in the woods, and the back 8 being open shots. This was the first course that I ever played and is great for beginners. There are quite a few trees in the woods, but the brush isn't very thick so losing a disc is never really a concern.
Cons: Hole 3 doesn't really have a distinct fairway. I feel like there is no good way to throw it there. Sometimes, pick-up soccer games interfere with hole 13. Some may argue that a lack of trash cans or benches is a con, but these things never bother me.
Other Thoughts: If you're going to play a course in Rocky Mount and don't have much time, play here.

Pros: Can play this course pretty fast. Tees are close to pins and easy to find. Short course with some technical shots that will test your accuracy. Great for begginers. A few long holes on the back to test your driving ability. Love this course.
Cons: Could use a few trash cans.
Other Thoughts: Safe place to play in a good neighborhood.

Cons: -Wet and mushy after rain

Cons: -A little wet in some areas. It hadn't rained in a least a week and the course was suprisingly wet
-A couple of holes are near playground, tennis courts, and small family pavillion. Pedestrians were a factor

Other Thoughts: Overall this is a fun course. Not to mention there are 3 other courses all within 3 miles of Englewood Park. RECOMMENDED

Pros: They made good use of the area. The front 9 it tight but fair with plenty of variety in the shots. The back 9 allows you to stretch out you arm on a couple of holes.
Cons: There are a few holes that can get swampy after a hard rain. They usually keep the area fairly clear but there are times the front nine can get grown over.
Other Thoughts: It is what it is, a beginner course with a few technical holes to keep you on you toes.

Pros: The first course installed in RM, a great short technical course, ideal for beginners or anyone wanting to work on their putter shots. First 13 holes play in tight woods, most of these holes are right around 200 ft. 14-18 play in the open and give the chance to let you air out a few drives
Cons: a few wooded holes are on the fluky side, 15 is a fluky hole playing around a tennis court.
Other Thoughts: : ) :

Pros: Great beginner course.
Cons: Can get swampy on front 9 after heavy rains.
Other Thoughts: Great course to play if you're looking to finish in about an hour (playing w/ 2 people). Also fun to play at night. If you're lucky, the lights will be on ; on one or several of the fields, which helps a little.

Pros: Good course to start out on. Teaches you the ropes of throwing in the woods and they aren't very long holes. Then you get to throw some bombs on the back 9. Concrete boxes and signs are always a plus.
Cons: When it rains and the creek gets water it comes into play. Pedestrians come into play on the back 9. Thats about it. Not too many negatives.
Other Thoughts: Good starter course. I enjoy playing it.

Pros: It was a pretty short course that made good use of the land it sat on. Front 9 weave through a typical NC forest, tall narrow loblolly pines. Back nine partially open after hole 12. Navigation was pretty easy to find next tee as well as the basket you're throwing to without walking too far.
Cons: No elevation change what so ever. Signs weren't in great shape, although the distance was pretty visible/accurate.
Other Thoughts: Lots of trees on the front. If you like tunnel shots, you'll like the front of this course. It's a pretty good beginner course as the front gets newbies used to trees while the back allows them to let loose and rip. Nothing over 350 though from what i remember. I had fun even though it was almost 100 degrees.
