Pros: Baskets are nice and the grounds of the school/playground are fairly well kept. Decent place to introduce the sport to someone and toss a round with a loved one for recreation. A better-than-nothing place to keep your mid-range game sharp while visiting historical Fredericksburg.
Cons: Not at all challenging for advanced players. Not marked and does not have tee pads. Lacking distance and variety.
Other Thoughts: If you're in town visiting, bring your discs along and play this course. It will probably be the most enjoyable 30 minute activity you'll do in Fredericksburg. At least you can add another notch on your 'courses played' list.

Pros: Nice baskets, open throwing areas.

Great for practice/warm-up.

This environment creates interest for these middle school kids to grow up playing disc golf!
Cons: No tee boxes or distance markers. Where do you start??

Much smaller than anticipated.
Other Thoughts: I imagined a nice 9-hole course, but not a playground! Being a 5-10 acre course, obviously it's meant to be played from ONE tee from the middle of the course, although I did not see any tee boxes, any type of guidance, or distance markers.

Fredericksburg being the tourist attraction it is needs a REAL disc golf course. Beautiful Hill Country!
