Don't Go Here!!!!!!
Pros: -It is typically well mowed as part of the campground
Cons: -Everything else. It has no tees, is very short, isn't the greatest piece of land for disc golf in the first place, is never played, layout is confusing at best, has homemade saucer baskets that are falling apart, etc
Other Thoughts: Don't come here. Even if the baskets were real it would be a poor excuse for a pitch and putt. They should probably pull the crappy saucer baskets because nobody cares about this course or ever plays it. River Rock DGC is within town and is an awesome 9 hole course. Also, you aren't supposed to play here unless you are a camper so that's another reason to not play here.

A really crappy blast from the past
Pros: Well mowed
Friendly staff
Friendly staff
Cons: "Saucer" baskets are in disrepair
Incredibly short
Very open
Incredibly short
Very open
Other Thoughts: I went in to the office at the River View Campground (K.O.A. Owatonna) and asked Lisa the attendant if they had a disc golf course.
"Yea?" she said.
"Could I play it?"
"Are you sure? It sucks," she said.
She wasn't kidding. The course is laid out on a small hillside without any tee's and the longest stretch between targets is 120' maximum. There's strip of trees separating 1-4 and 5-9 so depending on your creativity they could be used for some interest, other wise, save for hole 1, it's wide open. The targets used are one off saucer baskets likely made of spare parts sometime in the early 80's. Most of them are in some sort of fail mode. The bottom basket on some are laying at the bottom of the pole, others the poles are leaning to the side, the hole top saucer on 1 was sitting in it's basket... one could go on. On the upside the grass and the rest of the campground was well mowed and the staff was friendly. This brings me to the only reason you would ever stop the play this one, you're camping there, you have zero transportation to get to River Rock DGC and you have nothing else what-so-ever to do that day.
