Pros: It is a disc golf course.
The hole lay out is actually fun to play.
There are some huge elevation changes (ok, not huge... but decent).
There are some very open and some very tight holes.
There is plenty of parking
There are walking trails and a really big, really cool playground for kids.
There are things to see and picnic areas.

Cons: First it is a bit pricey to get in (would give it another full point if it was free or $1 - $2 to get in).
There are walking trails...some are very close and in one case cuts thru a fairway.
There are things to see and picnic areas... most of the picnic areas are in the fairways.
Kids and adults are always in the way (they see it the other way around).
There is not one hole that makes you want to take your friends to this course and say "check this out"

Other Thoughts: before this park was renivated there used to be this amazing 9 hole course here that would beat you up and make you want to get better so you could get a better score.
Now it is a course that is good to play if it is close to you or you happen to be there for some other reason.

Pros: 9 holes with with a good use of trees.
2 pins over 350 feet and 2 aceable holes (both under 290 ft, straight with no obstructions.)

Cons: when the course is busy, you have to play dodgeball. Holes 2 and 8 play in opposite directions to the same area, so you are throwing at the same area someone else is throwing to. Holes 1 and 9 face each other and cross paths, so you are throwing at someone while they are throwing at you. 3 and 8 also face each other. 4 -7 also involve throwing the disc at someone or into their path. Hole 8 is the only hole that has a significant dog leg. the Hole 9 tee is across the bike path near a compost pile. Tees are nearly all sand and there is only 1 tee per hole (2 tees would not work here).
The basket at hole 1 has a faded 3 on it which adds to the confusion of the course (even with the crude map).

Other Thoughts: DONT PAY. Another reviewer said you can park 1/2 mile and walk to the disc golf. I paid so I could get the map, but they have free maps on the sign, the person in the booth will probably give you a map as a walker also. The walk is well worth keeping the $5 in your pocket.
Take a quick peek at the tiny cemetary in the woods by hole 1.

Pros: You can get a real confidence boost by the short open holes which allow you to if not Ace at least hit the basket in one or two throws. There are many variations on the holes which local players continually make up to compensate for this short and unchanging course.
Cons: 5 dollors for a small non-impressing course. Many picnicers and other park goers in the middle of some holes. Watch out for poisen Ivy at all times, it grows rampantly in the brush.
Other Thoughts: This is the closest course around and i actually play it daily because it requires a special trip to go farther to the spectacular Patapsco Valley course. My goal is to Ace every hole, although i do not see how i will ever achieve this on hole 8, i have easily birdied every whole including 8 on a good day. If you make your first right upon entering the park, before the toll gate, you can park for free at the athletic fields and walk .5 miles to the begining of the course. Just cross the street and walk past the sheep pen and through the farm. Watch out for poisen Ivy!!

Pros: Fairly simple layout but still has a couple fun hyzer shots on 2 & 8. Aceable shots on 3 & 5-but not too easy.
Cons: Picnicers can get in the way on summer weekends. Not very challenging after several plays.
