Pros: They've removed most of the reeds and are doing work on the creek on 17. Looks like they're putting in large rocks. They're also putting in concrete tee pads on all holes. Nice combination of obstacles. Wooded, but open, too.
Cons: It can still be a disc eater, though losing one in the water is less of an issue than before
Other Thoughts: Love this course. It's a "home course." One day I'd like to check out a tourney there on a Sunday.

Pros: Wide open
Not crowded
Cons: Short
small variations
weak teeboxes and markers
Other Thoughts: Course isn't long and kind of boring, but its a good quick play. It was really really hot when I played and you can lose a disc or two in the creek that runs through the whole course

Pros: Great layout
Requires a good mix of throws
Flow from hole to hole is good
Nice elevation changes
Challenging
Cons: Dirt tees are really in bad shape, constant fear of falling on your face if you have a run up.
Parking lot was abnormally hard to find.
COURSE IS A DISC EATER!
Other Thoughts: Overall this is a great great course. It has a great layout, great flow, good elevation changes and it really challenges you to think about what you are throwing and how. The major issues with the course are that the dirt tees are horrid and a injury waiting to happen! This course eats discs! A river/creek runs through the entire thing so be careful, if you throw bad, short, or slightly off target you will have to search for you disc for ages and HOPE to find it, and if you play here regularly the money loss in plastic will add up.
BUT, dont let this scare you away this is a great course and if you are in the area play it!

Pros: There isnt really any pros, the course was not that great, i was disappointed.
Cons: To start it off to find the parking lot was hard enough. i was looking on the side of the road that had the jimmy porter sign.
The tees are horrible for your footing they are extremely bumppy. I like water holes but not so many that you have a risk on to loose a disc on a majority of your holes. There was one hole i think it was 12 they could use a sign to tell you where to go to find it, for first timers like myself.

Pros: A few open spaces. Location is not bad. Course maps are easy to read.
Cons: I have so many complaints for this course... I will admit it was my first time to try it out, but there are wayyy too many creeks and water hazards. I lost my favorite disc out there and I'm totally bummed out about it.. There are lots of baskets that are hard to see from the tee spot. You have to use the map as your guide and hope for the best.
Other Thoughts: Considering that I played here during the winter time and it has rained lately, this might be why it's so wet and muddy. When summer time comes and the drought takes over, I will give it another shot.

Pros: Nice use of available land for a couple of cool elevation change shots. Easy to navigate and some boy scout volunteer work is only adding to the playability of this course. The wind is kind of funky here but it's nice. Seems to work with you most of the time. Almost always mowed. Another course I would recommend playing tourney rules as far as ob is concerned. Really tightens it up. Most holes are birdie possibilities, but don't count on doing it.
Cons: Could use a tee box facelift, but not horrible. Can take a while to play a round in a group. A couple of the baskets could be replaced.
Other Thoughts: Nice place to spend a saturday. Worth a drive.

"Disc Eater"

Pros: I just started playing the game in July '11. The better I get, the more I enjoy playing this course. A variety of shots are needed to effectively play the full 18. On some holes, a back hand just wont do.The course is unforgiving and demands precision shots. If you happen to throw your disc in a hazard (which is highly likely), there is a greater than zero chance you'll come out with a few more discs than you started with. Give me a call if you see one with a paw.
Cons: My buddy and I affectionately call this course the "disc eater". Between the two of us, we've lost 6 since July '11. Your first victory is getting through the 18 with all the discs you started with. You can see moderate improvements being made to the course over the past month. If a few more bushes and tree limbs were trimmed back and concrete tee boxes were installed, this course would rivals the best in the area.
Other Thoughts: If you have some skill and can throw without fear, this course is sure to entertain.

Pros: This course offers up diverse challenges with creeks trees ponds and thick vegetation makes for interesting rounds
Cons: If you hit the thick brush just say goodbye to that disc unless you have waiters and a machete.
Other Thoughts: I am new to this sport and learned about the shoes on the electric wires if you ace or just wear your designated DG shoes out they are retired by hanging for all to see!!!!!

Great variety, no tee pads

Pros:
- Great variety of shots incorporating elevation, trees, and water
- No two holes alike, each one has unique challenges
- Nice layout and flow
Cons:
- No tee pads, and even worse, some used to be crushed gravel, but are so bad that they're worse than just flat dirt because of all the pot holes
- Not much signage, holes can be difficult to locate for first timers
Other Thoughts:
With decent concrete tee pads, this would easily be a 4.5, but the inconsistent footing really detracts from what would otherwise be a great course.

Pros: Okay course. A lot of OB and Water to watch out for. Not recommended for the beginner player. Friendly locals. Had a gentalman walk half the course with my group that was very helpful and knowledgable. Can't remember his name but a red headed college student that once went to Levelland, Tx. SPC for school. I wanted to thank him for helping out and walking us through the course.
Cons: Railroad, Apartments, Roadway, and public walking access. The peds must not see much playing time from golfers and don't realize the way the course plays (Watch out for them). Dirt tees and without the help we received wouldn't have found the next holes on some.
Other Thoughts: Would play again if the course was updated to concrete tees and marked better. Lost a disc in the pond (Discraft Surge with Hancock on it) If willing please contact for return. Thanks
