Great Terrain, Poor Design

Pros: Nice baskets with hole numbers on them. 18 ends where 1 begins. A couple holes play around water. Some nice long distance holes throughout the course, as well as some shorter technical holes in the middle of the course. Good elevation change on many holes. Excellent terrain for disc golf. Several blind shots. Most tees are pretty worn in and fairly easy to spot once you get close to them. Hole 8: nice 250' tunnel shot. Hole 11: short blind downhill with water behind the basket. Hole 17: nice 400' hole shooting over a large pond; have to throw 300'+ to clear it, and there is only a thin retaining wall between it and another body of water, so laying up is really tough.
Cons: No signs. No map. Confusing layout; poor course design. Very tough to navigate 1st time playing. Natural tees. Lots of blackberry bushes and poison oak on the course. Needs a lot of maintenance. Several holes are completely wide open. Hole 4's basket is MIA. Only one bench (hole 7) and no trash cans on the course. Most baskets are not protected at all.
Other Thoughts: I was very disappointed with the design of the course, especially considering the terrain of the available land. There is potential here for a great 18 hole course, or possibly even a 27, but the course needs a completely new layout. A few of the holes are great, but need different pin positions. A lot of the holes are a complete joke. I was constantly saying to myself: "are you kidding me?" when actually figuring out the hole I was playing. With new pin positions alone this course would be much better. At least create a map and maybe put up some 'next tee' signs. The way it is is sad. If it were up to me I would say completely scrap the current layout with the exception of a few holes, and start from scratch with a new course design. The terrain is fabulous, and I hope to one day play a new layout here.

 Needs traffic

Pros: Great length, lots of terrain, all baskets, never crowded.
Cons: Need a guide, very wild, poison oak, not well marked (at all).
Other Thoughts: This course gets little to no maintenance, so plays well in early spring and late fall when the grass is naturally short. Is very challenging, and has many elevation changes. This course needs more traffic to trample down the grass/poison oak during Summer. Very fun course if you catch it just right, otherwise it will eat discs, sometimes in the middle of a fairway.

Pros: Decent length
Many different hole varities
Great if you're a student
Cons: No tee signs
No signs to the next "teepad"
No teepads
Grass needs to be cut
After it rains, it stays wet awhile
Other Thoughts: If the grass was hacked down quite a bit and some signs and teepads were added it would be a nice course.

Pros: -Has baskets
-Is a disc golf course? does that count?
-Has a hole that shoots over a pond
-Long
Cons: -Signs are temporary and don't show length, fairway, some tees are hard to tell which way to throw from!
-Many blind holes
-Was not mowed..in months..tall grass growing into a basket on one hole, sharp weeds in fairway can literally cut your skin
-Poison oak runs RAMPANT on the woods holes
-Woods holes are poorly designed and require crazy luck and you will land in poison oak
-Windy
-Bad rocky tees
-Hard to find, no maps
Other Thoughts: Needs a complete overhaul, land has some potential but this just doesn't work.

 Windy field

Pros: Nice markers and you can see the next pin.
Cons: Not much challenge, it is in an open field with thick small but thick bushes, tall grass with plants with thorns. Not the most fun hunting your discs down, even if you are a good shot. Watch out for the wind, it comes off the ocean in large gusts which affect the discs travel greatly. Beware the lake.
Other Thoughts: In the far back of the college, so park on the east side and walk through the school grounds to find it.
