Pros: This course area is well maintained and clean. There is some slight elevation to the area. The only "tough" green is how close the #3 basket is to the worker's parking area and the bushes. The tee signs all seem to be in good shape. Navigation here is a no brainer.
Cons: How low can you go? The baskets all seem to have part of the pole partially buried and are all very low to the ground. The cement tee pads that are there are very small and short. The dirt ones are not that different. Some of the tees don't even get you going in the correct direction. The holes are all short except for #9. A straight shot will get you through the wide open course in record time.
Other Thoughts: The Fun Factor here is not here after all. This is a good place for kids, but most players will be wondering, "What's the point?" This is so simple of a layout, it remind me of something someone just set up in their backyard. I would not make a planned trip or drive too far to play here.

Pros: Not too many good things to say here other than it's a good course to practice mid-range throws.
Cons: Terrible layout, the designer obviously didn't put a whole lot of thought into this course. Could have been much nicer with a good design. Almost all of the holes are right around 200 - 250 ft. Baskets sit pretty low to the ground with the basket for 9 actually sitting all the way to the ground. No real challenges to be found on this course.

Pros: Great beginner course, beautiful location near 2 ponds and a small river. Nearby golf clubhouse has bathrooms. Minimal hazards, good quality baskets. First 8 are par 3, #9 is par 4*.
Cons: Only 1 basket location. Fairway has lots of thorns and rodent holes. Be careful where you step! Concrete pads on some, dirt pads on others. Concrete pads are small and sometimes don't point exactly in the direction of the basket. Advanced players will be discouraged by the lack of shot variety - fairways are all open with only 1-3 trees per hole.
Other Thoughts: #9's basket is in a silly location and the fairway is close to the nearby river and very thick woods on the river's banks.
*To prevent disc loss, we locals create our own par 4 back to the practice basket. It is much more forgiving, gives variety in par, and brings you back in place for a second round.
Don't be alarmed by the lack of trees, it's Iowa. I live down the road near the park entrance, stop by and we'll play a round!
