Not the best state park course but still fun.
Pros: -First and foremost, a shout out to the Kids in Parks foundation, SD State Parks and our very own DSCJNKY for the great scorecards. They are on quality cardstock, have a detailed map, room to record two rounds for 5 people, and interesting nature facts on either birds or trees.
-Nice Innova Baskets
-Cement tees on a few. They used existing cement instead of pouring new cement.
-A few blind shots. 6 and 7 come to mind. 6 is through a small gap then a dogleg right and 7 is over or around a small building.
-A few ace runs. Especially the sub-100ft hole 8. Hole 9 is pretty short and open too.
-A few holes make you hit a certain line. Holes 1-2 and 6 especially. 1 and 2 have a few routes but you have to throw a big anny or keep it quite low (RHBH).
-You shouldn't lose a disc here. Be careful on 6 and you should be fine.
-You can stay and enjoy the campground and the beautiful Missouri River. The surrounding area is quite scenic and serene.

Cons: -It is pay to play and I wouldn't call that a con on most courses and there is other things to do but this course was not as good as the other state parks course that I have played.
-No elevation at all.
-Good players won't find much of a challenge. The SD State Parks courses are definitely made more for families (except Big Sioux Rec Area)
-Not a ton of length
-You might have to be a little careful on a few holes for other park users. Cleaning stations, picnic areas and a playground are somewhat close.
-They could pour cement on the other tees on this course. Hole 4s tee area had a gopher hole right in the middle of it.

Other Thoughts: This course was kind of fun but it is pay to play and in the middle of nowhere. I wouldn't recommend driving all the way here just to play but if you want a weekend of peace, good fishing, camping and a little disc golf this would be a fun destination. Like many parks, I think they could have used other land and made it more interesting. Of course, that would make the course harder and take more work to complete the course.
Pros: Short course, good scenery. Had fun playing with my boys.
Cons: Not challenging, very few obstacles. Was distracted by other friends and campers cooking out.
Other Thoughts: Has some fun here but this is just an average course
