One of my favorites!
Pros: Absolutely beautiful scenery... one of my favorite scenic DG courses. It has amazing views of Mt. Baldy and the desert floor. The mountain air is so fresh and clean and the huge pines are awesome. The course is designed wonderfully throughout the ski-slope area and includes tons of elevation gain and loss. Including one 600+ foot bomb between two pines and down the schute (80+ feet elevation loss)... it's fun. Big bombs, technical shots, lots of opportunity for punishment... this course is awesome. And, the course returns to the parking lot after each 9 (27 holes), which lightens the load you have to carry (since you can refill your water and grab beers every 9). Extremely easy to navigate for a moutain course. The table mountain campground is on the edge of the course and is worth staying at.
Cons: None really. Black rubber pads... but it would be impossible to have permanent tee-pads on the ski slope.
Lots of uphill walking at high elevation... but they designed the course to switchback up the steeps, over a few holes, so it's not one straight shot up.
Other Thoughts: Rattle snakes!!! I've seen them there a few times. It's at 6500'+ so bring your beaten plastic. New discs will turn drastically... and on this course that could mean turning down a blackdiamond, resulting in a long walk. Use putters and midrange discs as drivers as they glide well in the thin air.
between hole13 and 14 there is a sacrifice spot where you can throw a disc off the mountain and it will fly for miles... literally.

Pros: absolutly beautiful views, fun course flowed very well.wooded yet little under brush except for the thorn bushes that had to be used to make jesus' crown.
Cons: its on a mountain, bring an oxygen tank.if you have a throw get away from you your disc could be gone for ever.I lost my favorite disc in the most herific thorn bushes ever.
Other Thoughts: dont think I would play it again, the elevation was to much for me and it wasnt that difficult except for the elevation and fear of lost discs.

Pros: Elevation and challenge on a great property. Beautiful ski area mountain top course within easy reach of the LA metro region. Dunipace/Bant design uses the hills and trees superbly. You will hike - so wear the proper footwear. Table Mountain Campground adjacent. Love it up here! Can be 10 to 15 degrees cooler than the flat land in the summer.
Cons: Closes in the winter. Tees could be improved.

Pros: Stunning views from atop of the mountain along many holes. Great use of elevation change and trees, as well as openness. Elevation change is not overdone, and there is a great variety of holes. Rubber tee pads are also very nice. Most fairways have been thinned out very nicely eliminating much of the brush.
Cons: A few poor pin placements with trees located VERY closely in front of the pad. Limits throwing styles from pin. First tee not marked very well... It is about 100 feet from the first sign going out away from the lodge back down the hill you came up, you tee off of the asphalt.
Other Thoughts: Very much worth the drive up in to the mountains for the view alone. But the course is very enjoyable.
