Pros: Nice elevation usage for a little park. Good baskets and 2 tees on all the holes as well. This is a short course for the most part except for like 2 holes. You can throw some different lines for the most part due to the openess of this course. Good course for beginners and to test out your up shots and putts. Alot of the same shots for me(RHBH)which seems like it might get boring after a while.
Cons: Signage, must be a thing in Tyler as in they are just numbers. The pond looks nasty so dont throw in there. Kind of hard to navigate at times but not too bad. Not alot of shade so it could get hot.
Other Thoughts: Fun course to go out to but not worth the drive itself.

Pros: Fun little course with lots of short length holes, definate birdie potential. Some elevation changes, especially in the front 9. Good use of the land/trees to provide a good challenge. Trees definately do their job in blocking the more typical lines that I throw. Accuracy definately needed on many of the holes. Clean. Good baskets. A few water holes definately add to the challenge, especially a partial island hole on 15 I believe.
Cons: Poor signs. Can be a little difficult to navigate first time. No distance or sign of where to go/throw. Dirt teepads. There is a walking path that is heavily used at times and can definately pose a hazard when throwing discs. Also busy with soccer and baseball players. In a word, busy at times, so watch out.
Other Thoughts: Different feel to it than the other courses in Tyler. Enjoyed the elevation changes. A few longer holes would be nice. Looking for water holes in the Tyler area, then come here for a few. Sure this course could use some improvements, but I like it the way it is. A course I will return to. Not as busy as other courses in the area so a quick round can be played.

Pros: Very nice course. Great elevation shots. #1 goes way up the hill, 2 is stright down the hill, 3 is back up. very fun course to play
Cons: hole 12 is a little difficult to find if its your first time, from number 11 basket, the 12th tee is directly left on the other side of the softball field. pretty busy on weekends, lots of interference and distractions
Other Thoughts: awesome course to play if your in the area

A Little Different
Pros: This course combines some unique features. Open shots, wooded shots, elevation going up, elevation going down, and is the only course in Tyler that has true water hazards. You'll have the opportunity to throw over water as well as the chance to shoot at a basket on a peninsula.
The course is kept up nicely and makes for a nice round.
Cons: The course could use some additional signs to direct you to the next tee. I walked in a circle more than once...the worst of which was trying to find hole 12. Hole 12 is located by a little house...not down the walking path.
The course looses some of it's natural feel and flow as it weaves around baseball fields and walking trails.
Other Thoughts: If you have a strong craving for water holes, this is the only place in Tyler you'll get it. However, in total, it is a step behind the Lindsey park courses.

Pros: Gorgeous park and very well maintained. Three or four elevation shots and a few water holes where you have to make some good shots. Good mid-range course where you can work on finesse. Nice place to bring family to picnic and also play a round.
Cons: Not well marked - hard to find hole 12 from number 11 off of the hill especially. The course does not flow terribly well. I can see how it could be pretty busy with other sports and walkers here (not on the morning I visited).
Other Thoughts: Enjoyable course, but choose the Lindsey Park courses first if you're short on time.
BTW - hole 12 is on the other side of the entry house with the porch.

Swimm'n with the Fishes
Pros: This course is lots of fun. Look out for the lake, be ready to risk a disc in the water. It's well maintained. You have some technical throws, but not many.
Cons: Don't play mid morning on a Saturday. You will have cars and soccer players in some parts of the course. Not a good place to learn dg as the water hazard can cost. =)
Other Thoughts: It's definitely worth playing, but if you are in Tyler for a short while and can only play one course I'd go to UT Tyler or Lindsey Park.
