Pros: Very easy course to find. Just look for the Eyota water tower (Take Highway 42 South and take a left on 5th).
The course was open which gave you room to play if you have an errant throw.
The course starts out plain, but soon it starts test out your arm with longer shots and shots around trees.
There are two awesome holes where you have to throw over some prairie grass.
Cons: Actual signs would be a big plus. I guessed where the first hole was and I guessed correctly. Little posts with number stickers on them will work, but something better would be nice.
For the most part a very open course without a whole lot of elevation.
The walk from hole 9 back to 1 is long, but there is a shed with water.
Other Thoughts: Great fun course that will test your distance. Signs would be a plus.
West Side Story
Pros: Nice multiple tees. Some strategically well-placed trees around the baskets but not too much trouble. Not a long course & is a good course for beginners.
Cons: I wish it had signs on all the holes denoting par & yardage. I believe there are red & blue poles by the tees that have the tee yardage but not sure how accurate it is or if it's on every pole. The course weaves through the park but traffic usually isn't too bad. There is a long walk from #9 back to the 1st tee.
Other Thoughts: A nice course to practice on & doesn't seem to get a lot of play as a rule. Enjoyable for those who are new to disc golf. Signs on each hole stating par & yardage would be an improvement.
