Pros: Biggest plus is that for Calgarians - it exists! Features sunken hole markers, a substantial hill carrying several tee-offs and baskets placed among the scattered trees to add some challenge. Hill drives give discs some extra hang-time over a clear field allowing for a wide selection of shots and styles at times. Couple of nice ace runs, public washrooms during summer months in the day time and an overall well groomed course. Expanded to 18 tees using existing 9 baskets.
Cons: Natural tee boxes aren't apparent for newbs, especially after expansion to 18 tees as some of the tees are not yet worn in and sunken markers not clearly apparent. Not much to look at visually with busy roads, a school yard and houses around a mostly open field. Public pathway and park users occasionally present delays. Mosquitoes in season can be atrocious, but this lasts only a few weeks intermittently during the summer.
Other Thoughts: Overall a good option (and soon to be sole option with the impending closure of Centenary Park) if you're a Calgarian without access to Park 96 or a ride out to Canmore, but it's also fun to let the discs fly off the top of the big hill and see what they can do. Open areas near the course are a good place to practice drive as well. Good place to test new plastic.

Pros: The park is in decent shape, and its a good course to play during the winter time. The shape of the park makes it good for creating alternate course layouts.
Cons: Its kinda plain, nothing too interesting about the original layout. No signage, a new player would likely find it tricky to get around the course without a map.
Its in a slightly sketchy neighbourhood too.

Other Thoughts: I wouldnt make a special trip to come play this course, but its one of only 2 public courses in Calgary so its better than nothing!

Pros: Well-kept park; nice elevation changes. Good mix of short and long holes, left and right turns. For a course with only 9 baskets, the 18-hole layout works well. The locals have several other configurations for play and hold a mini every Sunday afternoon, barring blizzard conditions.
Cons: Hole numbers are on sunken concrete markers and can be difficult to find. Natural tees can become muddy and slick. Occasionally pedestrians will slow your play.
Other Thoughts: I have played several 9-basket courses in city parks. This is probably the best.
