Not bad, but needs improvement
Pros: The course is adequately maintaned, with mowed fairways. The holes are intermediate level; short but with challenging rough areas. The course itself is fairly quiet and somewhat picturesque.
Cons: Very difficult to find where the holes start, even with the map. Some fairways are so close that they almost overlap. Tee boxes are vague or non-existent. Even though the holes are short, the ones along the south end that border the marsh have rough that it's easy to lose the disc in. No score cards available despite the guy at the gate saying there were at the local store.
Other Thoughts: Overall I enjoyed playing, but found that searching for the teebox for every hole to be frustrating, even with their "map" in hand. Some holes had number toppers on them, but most did not. The tee boxes should be better defined, with an indication of the direction of the hole. The whole course seems to be an afterthought, and not improved at all. Not worth the $7 fee to play.

Pros: The course is well maintained and the fairways are usually freshly mowed. The baskets are top notch. The fee to park a car is about 3 bucks so it is a really cheap place to play a round. Plus the campground has other facilities which the fee gives you access to.
Cons: Many of the holes are short and the course could be considered novice. That being said drives that go off the fairway are punishing and sometimes difficult to recover, so its not really all that beginner friendly.
Other Thoughts: It's the only course in the area so where else are you going to go? Since it's so close to the 401 it's really easy to drop in for a quick 9.
