Pros: In my eyes, this is the Highbridge Hills of Germany. It's biggest pro is the fantastic on-site lodging opportunity with the CVJM Gästehaus Solling.

This is a very difficult course to rate because it has three different set-ups, depending on the time of year. The best of these layouts is the tournament layout, which consists of blue and yellow sub courses, each with 16 holes. I have no problem giving this layout a solid 5 because of it's huge variety of shots and difficulty/fairness balance. In my opinion, this layout is the best course in Germany and also the best tournament. Highly recommended!!!

The second of these layouts is the 18 hole layout (which is what this course page depicts) and the third is the 12-holer which is probably played the most (as it's set-up in the summer). The 12-hole set-up shouldn't be too much of a challenge for advanced players as it offers plenty of birdie opportunities.

Another huge pro that this course has going for it is that the land is used exclusively for disc golf and the chances of running into a non-disc golfer here are pretty slim from my understanding.

The baskets, tees, and tee signs are all top quality Crosslap equipment.
Cons: It's my understanding that you're supposed to pay 1 Euro if you play here...I played during the tournament, but maybe the next reviewer could clear this up...

The biggest con is that the tournament layout isn't permanent. If it were, this would be an outstanding disc golf destination that every German disc golf needs to have played. Unfortunately, most of the time only 12 baskets are set-up which make this a very average course by my standards.
Other Thoughts: Here's what you should get out of this review...

The course is average and nothing spectacular during the rest of the year, but when it's tournament time in April or so, do your best to come here! It's absolutely worth it!!!
