The Dreaded Dretzka

Pros: The course is exceptionally challenging, offering a great mix of long, short, medium and left, right, straight shots to test your game. It can be wide open, and there are also portions of dense foliage. Some holes have very well guarded greens, while the many long and open holes offer no protection whatsoever. Holes 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 17, 25, 26 and 27 are the highlights of what is ultimately a lackluster course
Cons: The first hole is ridiculous. What is with these designers that believe throwing straight for 300 feet and then turning right 90 DEGREES into dense foliage for another 60 feet constitutes a fair hole? The 2nd and 3rd holes are simply narrow corridors and far too long for that type of hole.
Aside from the holes mentioned in the Pros, the course is overly long, relatively straight, flat, and fairly boring. Only the big arms will love it.
It's ALWAYS enormously busy. It's not much fun to go to Milwaukee anyway, and this dramatically reduces the enjoyment. It will take over 2.5 hours to play 27, though only 1/3 of those holes are any fun at all.
Other Thoughts: The locals love this course and it was an enormous part of the early disc golf scene in WI. I've always found it an unfairly punishing course and, while I openly admit that I hate large cities, Milwaukee ranks among the worst of all the large cities I've ever visited. It's a filthy city but for the area near the college, and the people in the city are ill-bred, under-educated souls with bad taste in music, food, clothing and any other of the things that usually make life wonderful.

Pros: Clean park, good tee pads, easy to find. Friendly locals. Ample parking. Not crowded.
Cons: A bit confusing to navigate, some hole overlap. Never found the 18+ holes. No water fountain.
Other Thoughts: A decent community park course. I was in the area and this course along with nearby Brown Deer were highly rated so I played both.
Dretska was easy to find, however the course itself has some navigation issues. With a bit of fairway overlap, it's easy to mix up which basket goes with which tee.
Some nice wooded technical holes; a bit too narrow for my taste but nothing too frustrating.
Minus the overlaps, the course was relatively easy to navigate. Friendly locals, moderately active course on a summer Saturday.
No water fountains and the nearby bathrooms were locked. Ample parking right by hole 1 tee.
Area players will like the course, however I didn't find it as compelling as the other reviewers. The fairway overlap mixed with the lack of elevation changes and a bit of repetitious back and forth left me wanting more.

Pros: variety, but does not take very long to play. It's right by major roads, but enough away that traffic noise is low.
Cons: sometimes you can't see the pin and don't know where you are aiming. so if you aim for one, it may be somewhere else, kinda kills the mood.
