Free Hot Springs worth the trip.
Pros: - Map and Hole/Object Descriptions available online
- Well maintained and beautiful park
- Free hot springs next to hole 9
Cons: - No permanent markings
Other Thoughts: This course should likely be listed as a Temp course(annual tournament with baskets) with the added bonus that if you know the course you can come back out from time to time and play it as a object course. As a first time visitor to the course armed with the map and hole/object descriptions(available in the links) I managed through what I thought to be the course. I have some experience so I think I did alright but I was confused on a few hole transitions and not sure I identified all the objects. For someone less experienced they might have quite a bit of trouble navigating the course. Though if they do strike out on the course it's still a lovely park with a bunch to offer including a free hot springs to soak away your worries.
If they could manage to mark the course in some manor either the tees or objects(or both) so it's distinguishable and thus playable year round the rating would definitely go up. If listed as a Temp course this rating would not apply and would likely be higher.
