Pros: This course is equipped with NexTEEs...
36 holes in one park...
The new layout for the south course is now in play - all 18 baskets are now in. 15, 16 and 18 from the old layout are now 1, 2, and 3 of the new north course.

Cons: In the process of being renovated yet again... but the Park District is A-1 and quick to move forward once ground breaks...

6 old 4 - new tee for blue and white - up on the hilltop in the woods

11 old 9 - a new alternate pin farther back in the woods
12 old 10 - a new alternate pin in the woods on the left
13 old 11
14 new hole in the woods across the top of the lagoon - there is an alternate tee across the opening with the new retaining walls...

Pros: Good Practice for diffrent types of shots. to get below par from any of the 3 tees, one has to pull out some good shots on a consistent basis.
Most of the renovations have been completed, the course is becoming more playable.

grass hasnt grown back yet..
needs course maintaince more regulary, lack of trash cans.

Other Thoughts: an awesome course to play.. 80 percent of the players play the red tees...
try the white tees or the blues!

Not bad at all
Pros: Nice mature trees, defined fairways, nice mix of shots and OB's
Cons: hard to follow, some construction noted on hole three making the fairway on 4 very, very muddy. Hole 17 doesn't really have a fairway due to over growth, only direct path could lead to hitting a building or going in the road.
Other Thoughts: Would love to play this in cooler weather. When i went it was horribly humid. Would love to see more courses like this one

Lincoln Debate
Pros: One of the longest courses in Illinois. Great mix of shots to test your mettle and unload your bag. Technical expertise required. From the long tees t the long basket placements, have potential to go out of bounds on 12 holes.
Cons: Renovation is still ongoing. Been plagued with various "natural habitat" issues that have impeded the renovation around the pond.
