About the Pitches
Pros:
One of a few, permanent, basket-courses in the UK. Makes the most of what little elevation changes and obstacles available to it.

Cons:
For the most part, wide open. A few of the baskets are quite near to the fences of private homes or a farm field.

Other Thoughts:
Course plays around the edges and across well-maintained open spaces that are used as rugby pitches by a private school. The two pitches are separated by a short but steep slope, and the rightmost pitch has another short but steep slope on its far side. Baskets 1, 5, and 7 are located near the edges of the these slopes to provide added challenge, as are tees 6 and 8, to provide an elevated look to the basket.
Holes 2&9 do not have tee signs. For #2, I teed from underneath the goalposts. For #9, I simply teed for next to basket-8 - not correct, according to the map, but better to throw across the open space than walk halfway across then throw!
A rare place to play disc golf in the north of England. Definitely on the open and flat side, but better than nothing!
