Pros: This is a beautiful course hidden away in the mountains of Santa Fe. Amazing views of mountains around you. I happen to visit at a time it was almost 70F yet there were still psyched of snow in shady spots. Now the pros...

-amazing view and scenery
-lots of elevation change coming into play
-27 holes
-long and short tees
-awesome signature hole with 400ft down hill shot
-cool benches and structures here and there using surrounding vegetation
-variety of shots and distances
-Lots of hiking
Cons: Not the easiest to navigate, lucky my friend and I ran into two locals at the start of the round. Played doubles and won by a stroke, heck of a match came down to the end. But I wouldn't have found the end without local guides. Other cons...

-lots of small cacti
-signage not the worst but could be better. There are arrows at pins pointing to next tee but still tricky at times
-good amount of blind shots so have a spotter or two (Not so much a con but just a heads up, elevation and low shrubs can swallow your disc)
-windy most of the time I heard
Other Thoughts: This is honestly my favorite course that I have played as an intermediate golfer. Other than signage at times, course flows nicely. Having a guide I didn't have to worry about getting lost so I enjoyed a great round with amazing scenery. Trees are mostly all under 15ft and carve a lot of nice holes and tricky lines. However, a lot of pins can be reached with overhand throws because the trees are small. I would disallow overhand on a bunch of holes that have defined fairways cut from the trees. Highly recommend this course if you like hiking and mountain views and a nice mix of holes. Would be 5 stars if easier to navigate.

Pros: Awesome course with 27 holes! #1-16 are on one side of the road and the last 11 are on the other. Great shot variety. Hanging tees and a couple crazy mountain shots. The yellow signs helped us find every tee with no problem. Beautiful views on every hole.
Cons: There werent any maps available when i played. Lots of low trees in the fairway make it kind of hard to find discs.
Other Thoughts: I think this course has changed since the last couple people reviewed it. I played 27 numbered holes, all with nice tees and signs. It would have been impossible to navigate if not for the yellow signs and orange tape telling you where to go. Great exercise from walking all over the hills in the snow. Had alot of fun with the whole family on christmas day. Two Gray Hares is very close and is also very fun.

Cons: No bathrooms or water so make sure you bring plenty.
Other Thoughts: A lot of hard work has gone it this course.it has some nice trails with yellow markers to show you to the next tee.these guys keep it in very nice shape.keep up the Great work.
