Pros: Good for lefty shot practice. Nice park. Interesting hole shots. Plays quickly. Has nice signs to mark pads and next tee. A few challenging shots.
Cons: Walking path runs by a couple of holes. Dirt pads but not wore down to dirt. No elevation, though surrounded by hills. Busy road divides course.
Other Thoughts: Will be improved by concrete pads. Easy course to play. Good for beginners and those who don;t want to trek through woods. Seems like there is still a lot of room to add holes but would be in the open.

signs and safety
Pros: - baskets are in good condition
-poles for signs to give you some sense of direction.
- park is well kept.
-good distance on the holes
-right next to the largest flower pot in america? i guess thats a pro.
-couple of interesting holes a blind shot and a basket on top of the creek bank.
Cons: -no tee signs not even a number written on the pole thats there to give you any kind of idea whats going on.
-have to cross a major road twice with heavy traffic. and a side road twice.
-one hole plays right along railroad tracks the entire length of the hole. doesnt seem safe to me.
-had some ticks on me when i was done
-couple of holes run along an RV park could hit a camper if your not careful.
-the creek doesnt really come into play all that much I was more worried of losing it in the brush on the banks rather than the creek itself.
Other Thoughts: -I never consider no tee pads a negative but just so you know there isnt any.
-joplin is just 13 miles away mclelland park is 27 holes of fun if your in the area skip this and bag joplin for sure.
-so far missouri has dissapointed me on courses they seem to have great terrain but never use it in the right way. Its ok to have a hole up or down a hill i promise it works!!

Pros: Longer course that provides quite a challenge. Trees on some holes, long open shots on others. Beautiful park with creek running through it.
Cons: No signs or teepads yet.
Other Thoughts: Best to find or call someone who's played the course before, I imagine it'd be impossible to play w/out knowing the layout before-hand.

Pros: Nice park, slightly wooded near a creek.
Cons: No signs. Tees not obvious. Parts of course very near playground equipment and camping grounds. A street splits the course.
Other Thoughts: I walked around for about 30 minutes and never found hole 1. I played a couple holes from random dirt spots which may have been tees. If you know the layout of the course it's probably really good, but otherwise not worth the effort to figure out the layout and tees.
