Not that good
Pros: A couple of the holes had interesting pin placements in little alcoves, and the 9th hole was a fun downhill shot with trees and OB on the right requiring a long sidearm or good anhyzer. A nice path runs from hole to hole. Great tee signs.
Cons: The holes that were in the wooded areas required skill shots, but they were so short that they were basically automatic birdies. The open holes required nothing more than muscle to get there because there were no obstacles whatsoever. The teepads are short and graveled, something I'm sure the club is working on fixing.
Other Thoughts: Because the course shares the space with the county fairgrounds, I doubt that much work will be done on the long holes, and there's not much space to expand the wooded holes to make them more challenging. It's a fine course if you want to play 9 holes in about 20-30 minutes, but it may not be worth the drive to play it twice just to get in 18 holes.
