Beginner friendly + short course= Ace Runs
Pros: This is a short course that was well mowed at the time of my visit. As the title states it is very beginner friendly course. Good for working on your midrange game and gives you the opportunity for Ace Runs. It would be very hard to lose a disc here. Course plays super fast, you can get in 9 holes in 30 mins or less.
When teeing off look for red metal discs on the ground. They are the same color as the baskets. They also have the distances on them.
Cons: Upon my visit I couldn't find the tee marker for #1 tee box, made up an area and safaried it. Also the weld on #2's basket was broke so the basket itself was lower than normal and could cause a made putt to fall out. #7's basket was bent, most likely got into a fight with a mower.
Other Thoughts: Depending on where you decide to tee off for #1, the basket is across the street from the school on the west side. The tee box for #2 is south of the tree that guards #1's basket. #3's basket is guarded, basket is directly behind a tree. Holes #4-#5 are open for the most part.
#6 shoots to the north and on the left side there is a tree, whose branches could come into play as you approach the basket.
#7 is a super short hole, be aware that the basket is bent.
#8 Is an Anhyzer shot for RHBH, around a couple of trees and shoots slightly uphill.
#9 Tees off going to the west-there is a gym on your left and a propane tank before you get to the basket.
Overall this is a short course. For what is was built for, I assume the school on which it sits, I'm sure it suits its purpose. Advanced players will be bored here, and beginners will feel good about their low scores. Not a must play by any means, but if I lived in Tipton I would be playing here on a regular basis trying to get an Ace and also working on my mid range game.
