Pros: +Right next to University of Cincinnati's Campus
+Park Staff is pretty friendly
+Great Landscape
Cons: -Two missing baskets
-Dirt tees
-little to no signage, very confusing to play
-Very worn out baskets
Other Thoughts: This is a course with HUGE potential. Right next to a big University (that I attend) with a very large population of disc golfers. There is ample room in the park for at least 18 holes. If a proper designer was hired and materials could be acquired, with just a little bit of weekly maintenance (after construction) this could be a great Cincinnati course. Right now, though, it is basically a course for practicing approaches and putting. I have found that the best way to play it is make up your own holes with the existing baskets in order to test and improve your own skills.

Something else worth mentioning. This is pretty close to Downtown and over-the-rhine, which basically means you don't want to play this course at night, and it is probably best if you play with a friend rather than alone. As a student of UC, on campus security is practically perfect, but once you step off campus you have to be constantly alert. So if you do go to play this course, just be aware of suspicious looking people.

Pros: -There is another 9 hole course just down the road at Cincinnati State.

-2 is a neat hole with elevation change that doglegs left through some woods.
Cons: -Badly Bent Baskets

-2 Stolen Baskets
Other Thoughts: This park isn't really worth playing unless you are in the area and just feel like playing. You could play this course and Cincinnati State pretty quickly.

Last time I played here we went to Cincinnati State and then St. Bernard.

Pros: This a great course for people learning the game or recreational players. Not to mention that it is great for students and others who find themselves downtown.

The course is not long, but makes good use of the terrain - with a good bit of elevation change and many of the holes playing along the edge of the woods. There are some fun shots at this course with lots of birdie/ace-run opportunities.
Cons: Dirt teepads, not super challenging. Course could get confusing in a couple spots for people playing it for the first time.
Other Thoughts: Advanced players could play this course with a midrange or putter. It was fun to play and is enjoyable for a casual round with friends. More serious players will want to check out some of the more challening courses in the area (Mt Airy etc.)

Pros: Good practice course. Challenging holes.
Chainstar baskets and dirt tees (except on hole 1). Close to town. They have removed most of the trees around the baskets.
Cons: Old, bent, beat up baskets. Most teesigns missing. Basket 9 missing (sometimes a basket will be there, but rarely) by this I mean and portable basket that people on the course bring. Traffic will not stop for a disc in the road. Also I got an update saying that #4 basket was stolen. If you have your own basket take it.
Other Thoughts: Some challenging holes and a very fun course. Cincinnati State has a course right down the street. Go play it to make 18 holes.

Pros: Course is close to downtown - and has easy access. Fairly technical course - though mainly aimed toward a beginner. Park is well maintained - and fairly busy.
Cons: Hole 9 damaged in 2006 lightning storm - has not been replaced yet. Holes 3, 6, and 8 were damaged from Hurricane Ike by falling trees. The course is pretty messed up right now - but still playable as an 8 hole course. Natural tees except hole 1.
Other Thoughts: This course has a couple of fun holes - and is definitely potential for some nice aces. Its proximity to Mt. Airy, and Surge make it a must play - it only takes about 40 minutes.
