Pros: There are several holes that have some nice elevation change. Some baskets are on slopes that require you to take into account how your disc will land. There's a good mix of backhand and forehand shots, tight shots and open field, and the course is very scenic. Baskets were in good condition, and grass well maintained. Alternate tees for the back 9 made the course slightly different, but really only added a little bit of distance on all the holes. Some baskets are nestled against the treeline or tough slope, requiring some thought about where your disc will eventually stop, and there's definite risk/reward in trying to sink long shots.
Cons: The first hole is ridiculous and unfair unless you consider yourself an exceptionally accurate player. The tees are in the parking lot, and the shot goes through a tree line on the near side of the lake, over an inlet of the lake, and through a tree line on the other side of the lake. The opening is not wide, and overhanging branches almost ensure that any tree hit will end up costing you a disc. Since the hole is at the top of the hill and the trees at the bottom, there's very little vertical room also, and most discs that would make it across wouldn't have the height to make it to the short grass. I skipped the hole, so it's essentially an 8 hole course for me. There were no alternate, easier tees marked. The park office closes at 5pm (could be listed as a pro, since after 5 there's no place to pay the park entry fee, at least that I saw), so if you arrive after you won't have a map of the course, and some navigation is tricky. I have no problem with the long walk from 4-5, but it's hard to know where you're going on the first time out with no map. One basket in the woods and tees for the last hole weren't mowed. It's unfortunate that it isn't a full 18. It's a really enjoyable course to play, but you probably won't want to go around more than twice consecutively.
Other Thoughts: Despite the first hole, the course is very enjoyable and worth the drive if you're in the vicinity. In case you get there when the office is closed, some useful navigation tips: the first hole is in the parking lot for the playground, with the basket across the water . After you finish 4, walk along the road towards the office, and the tees for 5 are just to the left of the road near the parking lot (yellow tees are on the right of the road). The rest is easily followed. The state park is only about 10 miles from Natchez, but the course is well back in the park, so it does take a while to get there.

Natchez State Park 
Pros: Clean park. Hole1 has you throwing over water about 220 from the short and 240 from the long. It is a pretty sweet water shot. You are standing in a grassy area surrounded by concrete, because you are throwing from a parking lot. You are throwing from an elevated area to a hill on the other side of the water. The pin is barely at the top of the hill and if you come up short, your disc could always roll into the water. This is the only real beginner unfriendly hole and the only major chance to lose a disc on this course. It is always a plus for me if I can hear flowing water. (streams, Dams) It makes it a lot easier to get that secluded feel for which most of us yearn when playing. It is pertty long for a 9 holer. When the dam is open hole 5 becomes another water hole and it too has a pin on a hill overlooking the water. Today it was dry but still a very unique hole. I could see where the water had been up because of the way the grass and the bottoms of the trees looked. Multiple tees 1-9 and 10-18 and alternate beginner tees marked with orange flags. On hole 1 the orange flags are on the other side of the water so beginners can still play the hole. A few tight wooded holes add variety and make this the most balanced and complete 9 holer that I have played so far. It has elevation, a water shot, tight wooded holes and some nice pin placements. I bet when the grass is green here this place is beautiful. It is tanish brown naturally in the winter. You might want to bring your practice basket because there are many hills and much scenic terrain to set up your own holes. Map available at the office. A very fun and scenic 9 holer.
Cons: Only 9 holes. No concrete pads. Out of the way and no other courses within 50 miles.
Other Thoughts: Loved it but because it is only 9 holes and out of the way I cannot suggest driving a long distance to play it. If you are close by then it is a MUST play.

Morrelew Disc golf course Pros: There are many different types of shots needed to play this course. The elevation of it creates difficult challenges to get to the baskets. There are also some tight wooded areas here.
Cons: The walk from the 4th hole to the 5th hole is to far. The elevation is hard to over come in spots.
Other Thoughts: this course will be great if and when there will be 18 baskets.
