Great Use of Space
Pros: Eurana Park is a well maintained public space nestled in the cozy town of Weatherly. Given the directions available, the course and the first tee aren't difficult to find. Parking is ample and the park itself is clean.
Given the small footprint of the park, the course makes maximum use of space, incorporating different fairway shapes (some more extreme than others), lengths, and elevation changes. Variety is key in spaces like this and this detail wasn't lost when this course was installed.
The first hole is a straight, open run at the basket across a grassy fairway with old growth trees bordering the hole. Every hole thereafter is in the old growth trees. Although some of the remaining eight holes could be considered somewhat short (as little as 153'), the design of the course requires accuracy to birdie many of the holes and there are very few "gimmies". That said, despite being wooded and technical, the course is fair. Most throws that deviate from the fairway can be recovered without being too punishing.
Several holes push the risk vs. reward aspect, such as hole #4. This is actually the shortest hole on the course and has a left turning fairway that plays to a very fast green. Overdrive this hole and you face a tough upshot. Pure the fairway and you'll be rewarded with sweet chain music under par.
Benches were plentiful as were garbage cans. Not once did I see any trash on the course. Further, the trees and brush seemed to be trimmed back nicely.
The occasional tee signs helped locating the baskets and determining the distance. Additional signage included painted numbers & dots on the trees that lead to the next hole, although in most cases this wasn't necessary as clearly visible (and usually tree-lined) paths lead you to the next tee.

Other Thoughts: I know the designer and I promised I wouldn't pull any punches. That said, I really didn't need to throw any punches because I really, really liked this course and found few flaws. Despite the limited space, I think the most (and best) course was crammed into the least area.
I can't say Eurana Park is a destination play, but it's still a great option for anybody in this area of the Poconos that wants to get out for a nice, quick round. If I happen to pass through the area, this will be on my short hit list to play again.

Pros: Easy to get around. Clearly visible paths from one hole to the next. Arrows point you to the next hole. You can play quickly.

Cons: 1st tee is a bit sandy, so you have to watch your footing.
The tee signs indicate that there are a number of Par 4's, however, all but one are really par 3.
Alot of the rubber tee pads are on VERY uneven ground.
As you would expect, a course this short is very narrow. Still, a couple of the fairways need more definition.

Other Thoughts: Alleys are narrow, but this is fair because the holes are not long. I always seem to bang alot of trees, but there are opportunities if you can keep it between the lumber.

My Back Yard
Pros: Well the first pro is that this course is right in my back yard, being less than a mile away from my house. Having learned the sport on this course I am a little partial to it. The fairways are fairly well marked and the baskets are new and well kept. The locals take a lot of pride in the entire park and the course is, therefore, pretty clean. SOME litter but the local players tend to keep it pretty nice.
Cons: It is an UPHILL walk for better than 1/2 the course and the dead trees standing along the paths at 5 and 6 make for nervous shooting at some points on the course.
Other Thoughts: This is a good place to take a family if they're not into the sport because there is plenty to do for kids and the pool is open for a dip between rounds if the casual golfer is in the mood!

Wooded Stroll ... with Baskets 
Pros:
Rubber teepads. Tees signs with basic information. Well-defined pathways and white paint on trees make navigation simple.

This course could also double as a very short and pleasant walk - across an open meadow (#1), around a bend, lined with rhododendron (#2), straight up a wooded path lined with ferns (#3), up-down-across a gentle slope with a moderate amount of trees, plenty of pine needles, and the remnant of a stone chimney (4-8), then steeply down to a small stream (#9) at the end of the meadow you crossed earlier.
After 300'+ hole #1, the remaining eight holes average ~200' in length. Holes 5-8 offer you a few different throwing paths to reach the basket. Despite the trees, minimal chance to lose a disc, unless you're deep into the bushes on #2, or too long on #9.
Very pleasant course to play, enjoyable walk for non-players.

Enjoying Eurana 
Pros: 9 holes with brand new DIScatchers. Holes practically all birdieable, but maybe one or two true ace runs (I had one ace run on 7). Good mix of elevation, righty/lefty shots, fast greens. Tees are new and in very nice condition. Very scenic and not hard to get to. Other park amenities available as well. Round can be finished in easily 30 minutes (or less). Nice job on the tee signs.
Cons: Although I like the set-up of the course, lots and lots of trees. This could truly make or break your round. It's only 9 holes (for now, I hope!)
Other Thoughts: Although there really isn't a whole lot in the immedaite area, Hickory Run and FE Walter are maybe 30 minutes away and totally worth it. I will certainly play this again, and I would like to see it become 18.

Technically Short!
Pros: There are a lot of neat things about playing here:
- The park is in a great "natural" woodsy setting. It's hard to believe that this course is in a town park! It's relaxing and great on a sunny day, as there is plenty of shade. Once you leave hole #1 you're basically making your way into a dense forest with many trees serving as obstacles between you and the basket. As such, this is primarily a technical course, which is a pro for me because I think that adds a whole other dimension to the experience. I would, however, like to see more variety as well (see cons)
- Great risk reward with basket placement, elevation changes, and both hyzer/anhyzer doglegs.
- The course has nice amenities and isn't hard at all to find. Signage and nice grippy flypads add to the course too.
Summary of holes:
#1 - The course's only open shot with one tree hazard in front of the basket. A nice relaxing way to start off the round.
#2 - A 45 degree anhyzer dogleg with rhododendrons on both sides of the fairway looking to grab your disc.
#3 - The elevation changes here with a nice uphill drive to the basket.
#4 - A hyzer dogleg in a well guarded placement of trees. Incredibly short, at only 153 feet!
#5 - Another tight wooded blind shot slightly downhill. Apparently someone aced this because the moron wrote on the basket >:(
#6 - An uphill wooded hole slightly to the left. You must clear a narrow lane of trees if you want to go under par.
#7 - Straight shot between a tight narrow set of trees. #8 is very similar.
#9 - The last hole is a fantastic way to end the nine holes. It's a very steep downhill drive to the basket with a lane of trees that can't be wider than 3 feet. The tee is likewise angled, as it's right along the steep hill, meaning that you gotta bend your knees a little bit to maintain balance. I would love to see this hole become a mando to make it all the more interesting!

Other Thoughts: For being a short nine hole course, this place really tests your skills. Many of the holes are technical, but a major drawback is the short lengths from tee to basket. The short lengths are compensated by the spectacular beauty of the park and the serene natural feel, despite being in a town park.

Pros: this is a very unique course, placed in a nice wooded park. hole #1 is the only open hole, with trees on both far sides of a picturesque meadow. after that, its all woods. good use of elevation on a few of the holes. and there is even a creek that comes to play on hole #1 and #9. there are some short holes, but the trees make it so its not so easy every time. this course is also only a few blocks from my home, so i try to get here a few times a week. definitely worth coming to check it out!!
Cons: the only con about this course in my eyes is that there isnt really enough room for 9 more holes. but thats not really a bad thing, at least we have one now!!
Other Thoughts: great addition to the rest of the local courses. me personally, ive had scores ranging from -3 on good days, to +5 on one "really" bad day, so scores can go either way. there are some short holes, but they are not always a gimmie, but yet there are some longer holes that you can get a nice powerful drive on. if you are a quicker paced player, like myself, you can easily get through 18 holes in aobut 45 min. there is a also concession stand that you can get drinks, and snacks and ice cream in the summer when its open. and they even carry a little selection of plastic for first timers, or if you are just passing through and decide to play with out your equipment.

cool little course
Pros: Technical course with some fun holes. Elevation changes makes the course interesting (in a good way).
Cons: The trails to each hole are getting better. Alternate tee boxes would be a great way to make 18 holes more fun.
Other Thoughts: The more the course is played, the better it will get.

Eurana Park Review...
Pros: Very technical course. Course has both lefty and righty shots. Lots of trees so the shot placement is critical. Fly18 Teepads work great even when wet! The walk throughout the course isn't too bad on 'older' legs.
Cons: Short course....but it's understood based on the location of the course. Some directional arrows would be helpful however there are white dots painted on trees for following.
Other Thoughts: During the summer, the concession stand has beverages, snacks, and a limited supply of plastic. The park will be installing a bulletin board with a course map and scorecards in the near future. Hopefully with the success of Eurana Park, the community will find more land and approve and install 18 more holes for disc golf!

Very nice.
Pros: Excellent course, marked very well, Has a nice mix of open and wooded shots. Very nice layout.
Cons: beginner couse, still a great course. No room for growth..................
