Don't hate the game, hate the booze.
Pros: What they said.
Play to have fun, drink to get drunk, & hope Greg doesn't hurt himself. It is truly about the people @ this home made course. Cheers!
Cons: No where near me.
Other Thoughts: Couldn't have had a better first glowie round then throwing lighted discs in the the pitch blackness of an apple orchard, & farm house.
If you are in the know, or on the list... it's a must! Bring booze!

A Rippin Good Time (inside joke)
Pros: This isn't about what you're playing, this is about love! If you are lucky enough to get the invite or know the secret then you need to go. I suggest you play it because you need to be part of a club that are the characters/caretakers of the sport! It is the camaraderie here that matters ( the booze helps) and the fact that this place is the center of the Mason county DG scene. I was lucky enough to be taken in by their freaks and allowed to be part of something never before attempted the First night glowie round. The perils of this rural legend are real. I almost lost my stones! Rip in the night was not the throw I am talking about.
Truth be told if you're a weekend warrior this isn't the course for you! If you're a three to five rounds a week rain or shine player and you understand the game. This still may not be the place for you, this course was built on love and a love of the game is what you need to enjoy it and a fifth of Jack helps also!
My friend Mr. Julio describes the course in his review so let me describe the people you will meet! Just plain old f-ing awesome folks. The people you can sit down and have a drink with and talk DG till the sun comes up. Because if that's not who you are then you don't even know!
Cons: The Fire wasn't big enough sorry Gipe! The Big freakin lake between me and it!
Other Thoughts: Just hope you are lucky enough to be part of it all!

welcome to the dollhouse
Pros: -drunks, no skunks, slam dunks into the chains
-booze, smooze, and don't play to lose
Cons: -it ain't my house, nor my course, nor anywhere near me
Other Thoughts: This is a total local biased course review, even though I am not a local. If you are welcomed to this shrine of disc golfing by the great guys of the Mason County Disc Golf Organization feel privileged and take it in! Is this "truly" a five star course, no. Is it what the sport is about? More so than any other place or people I have EVER played with.
Hole 1- tee off from the cement porch with a basket ball pole in the line. Don't forget your beers for the next holes. 180+
Hole 2- from across the dirt road, next to the corn field shooting right down the side of the barn on the left. A nice S shot will get you there. 270+
Hole 3- tee off from the corner of the apple orchard along a line of oaks to a basket that sits precariously next to a satellite dish. 300+
Hole 4- Hyzer that baby around the corner of a six generation, 1880's brick farm house to the basket in the front to complete loop1. Get beers do a shot. 230+
Hole 5- Shot from the road again up and over the small shed next to the barn. Beware of landing on the roof. 240+
Hole 6- the monster down the row of oaks and apple orchard. Shoot to the right and you will be searching among the apples. 400+
Hole 7- nice long technical hole OVER the orchard and back up next to the house. Blind shot. Hyzer or Anny, your choice.
Hole 8 - throw it straight between the old garage and the shed. The alley is maybe 20 feet. trees protect the basket. 190+
Hole 9- coming back over the shed to the house to the army green basket. Blind shots up and over protected by the monster birch. finish, drink some more. 210+
this is living. this is disc golf.
-some will "get" this private course, and some won't (as obvious by the unhelpful reviews). those that get it are the ones I want to party and play disc golf with, for you are the ones that carry and will pass on the spirit of this sport.
