Take notes Brandywine.
Pros: For only 3 weeks old this course is phenomenal. Many signature holes, lots of elevation changes, a good amount of distance, and the course is appropriate for all skill levels. Several good risk vs. reward shots. THE COURSE IS FREE.
There is a large brown lost and found bin for discs by the parking lot, and a port-o-potty.
The scenery is nice with 3 water fountains in the water. Make sure you check out the unmarked tournament tee on 13 on top of the dam.
Holes 14 and 12 are great!
Cons: Course plays around a very busy dog park, so there are lots of dogs and lots of dog poop.
Due to the nature of the park (equestrian activities are the priority) this course will always have natural tee pads.
the thorns can gobble down your discs and eat the flesh off your arm while you search for the disc. the water will eat what ever discs are not lost in the thorns. (I did not really lose a disc, but be prepared, it is very likely)
Hole 5 needs a sign to show you where the basket is (throw over tall grass to the left)
Blind baskets with no signage, we had no idea where we were throwing on 5, 6, and 7 (but remember the course is not finished)
Other Thoughts: See my hole by hole breakdown in the links section for more hole info.
Course was getting amateur tees put in while we were there. Course is not finished and is still amazing! There are a lot of changes taking place in the next few weeks, including the removal of the fence on 15. by the way DO NOT TRY TO CLIMB ANY FENCES, they are plastic and break easy.
Take a hole by hole tour in the photos section.
The course designer really cares what amateurs think, works very hard on the course with 2 other individuals, and was a top notch guide for the back 9.
If you are putting this in your GPS the address is in Wilmington, the town of Marshallton does not exist in the Garmin

beauty and balls
Pros: This course is the most beautiful course i have played but also has balls..The variety of basket locations and shots needed to master this course are numerous..Great to see some long throwers bomb it out but this course would be where i would go for some friendly competition too..Open long short and tight you want it carousel park has it..
Cons: Once the muddy tee pads are fixed we have perfection..Tee signs will only be icing on the cake..The course is so beautiful you can forget your lock in an epic disc golf battle with your friends.
Other Thoughts: I love it and "I'll be back"
