Quite the Hike, but SO worth it! 2+ years drive by

Pros:

Ettyville is a wonderful, big-arm course, with well thought out tee and basket positions, providing ample challenge for novice right through expert players. With three different tee positions, one can decide if one wants to be moderately-to-extremely beat up by the course.

There is challenge for the lefty and the righty, and for the forehand and backhand thrower. A mastery of both the forehand and backhand are nearly necessary for a good score on this course.

Cons:

At times, the basket for hole 8, and the entirety of hole 9 save the green can be wet.

OB zones (in the crops) are extremely punishing to errant shots, and, depending on the crop, will result in lost discs from mid-summer to the end of the harvest season.

Other Thoughts:

Built on private farmland, Ettyville Super Spin will never be plagues with non-disc golfing pedestrians, meaning the most errant shots (mostly mine) won't hurt anyone.

You'll want to check in with http://www.odgc.ca (The Ottawa Disc Golf Club) before playing, to confirm that all baskets are in place, as, at this time, they are occasionally removed for other Ottawa area events.
