Pros: Faergeardens DGC is located in a campground in the town of Spodbjerg, Denmark. Spodbjerg is a seaside town on the Baltic Sea on the Demark Island of Langeland.
After playing, you can walk across the sea and take a dip at the beach.

First the good news, the course now has 9 holes not the 6 as previously stated on the information sheet. The course starts in the middle of Faergardens campground facility. There are baskets on each hole but very little in the way of signage or any navigational help. The main course sign actually sits on near the road which would be between 6 and 7. The first six holes play through the campground, then you cross the road and attempt to play the last three. The first six are fairly short (50-75 m.) and technical. There are a couple of very tight holes with unforgiving rough on both sides, stinging nettles are everywhere in this thicket. I threw a disc less than a meter off the mowed fairway and a had a heck of a time getting it out trying to avoid the previously mentioned nettles. The fairways are mowed in places. Then the last three play on the other side of the street and are fairly short and open. I never found # 8 though.
Cons: Although designed to be a rec course for campers, the tight fairways and dense rough with neetles might turn off your typical Danish camper. The course is pretty poorly marked making it difficult to navigate. Two of the
baskets were leaning badly. There were no teepads of any sort. You just kinda tee off near the small signs where-ever you wish. I was never able to locate a basket for # 8.
Other Thoughts: Actually, this is not a bad idea placing a course here for the campers.

Wth very little effort, the nettles could be beaten down. That would help things considerably. Just a couple more navigational aids would really add to the enjoyment. The overall length and difficulty are just about right for the camper clientele expected here.
