Pros: There is no pros about this course.
Cons: Putt course. This course does not have tee pads, so you don't know where to start each hole.
Other Thoughts: If I lived in Estelline, I would play the course, but as a visitor I was very disappointed!

Pros: -Great use of trees and man made obstacles such as basketball hoops, fences, ball fields, shelters, and old buildings.
-Ace opportunities on a few holes.
-Always a line but often challenging
-Great variations in distance for the land they have to work with, every hole is different. Some holes over 400 feet probably (no signs so idk for sure) and the last two are probably just over 100 but have fun obstacles
-Nice baskets
-Adequate parking, not gonna see a lot of traffic here with the population at 627
-Hole 4 is probably the signature hole down a row of large trees
Cons: -The ever present SD wind
-Old school house in the way on the 3rd hole, could break a window
-People will be on/around the course often as it is near camping, swimming pool, ball fields, school
-no tees, just 1 sq foot markers with the numbers, can be hard to find
-Layout is kind of hard at first but if you play it once it's not bad
-No signage
Other Thoughts: -Watch out for the pine trees on hole 6, it is very hard to get discs out of them if thrown in
-If you're cruising down I-29 stop in for a round, you shouldn't be dissapointed with quick 9
-The first tee is by the gap in the fence behind the building to the south of the swimming pool
-Props to the designer, they weren't given a ton to work with but did very well. I hope this course gets better with time and the people of Estelline pick up the game

Confusing Parts: 1st tee is by the gap in the fence, 6th tee is through the gate and the basket is around the baseball field to the right. 8's tee is on the other side of the mini campground from 7, there is a tree right in front of the tee and another 100 or so feet to the pin.
