Pros: 1. Twenty-four hours. Lights under the baskets, so all you need are a few beacons (sold in the pro shop @ $3.50 each or 3 for $10) to tape to some Champion plastic and lots of beer! Some companions wouldn't hurt, either; who likes drinking and night golfing alone?
2. Woods DO become a factor on a few holes, and if you're not careful you can take a 4 or 5 on one of those.
3. Saturday night bonfire in the middle of the longest hole (shoot over or around it!). We didn't experience this, but apparently there has to be enough people down by the bunkhouse or Jon needs notice that you want to participate. Sounds like a blast; maybe we'll do it next year.
4. Option to play the "Chestnut Gold" hybrid. The Back 9 of Highbridge Gold (from white tees if you're trying to keep it a short round) can be transitioned in after Chestnut Grove, so you DO have an 18-hole option other than just playing through the 9 twice.

Cons: 1. Short and relatively open. As I stated, there are enough chestnut trees to make this somewhat fun, but it's really a beginner course and a chance to play some relaxing night golf.
Other Thoughts: This course is most fun when played at night, if all the lights are up and running. If you want to warm up before taking on the more difficult courses at Highbridge, go with Blueberry Hill or Woodland Greens instead of this.
