It was good exercise
Pros: This course has great views. The teeboxes are concrete and like new. Signage is good and offers a lot of tough elevation challenges you don't get in other courses in the area. The fairways are maintained. Chainstar baskets with bright neon flags. Offers good holes for both right/left hand throwers and backhands/sidearm throws. Picnic area is nice.
Cons: The driving situation and small parking behind the Arby's make for some confusion. The hike up the hill to the course was downright exhausting. I was unfortunate to play after some snow and rain so mud was everywhere. some steps or handrails would be nice. The layout is ok but most of the holes feel like the elevation changes are forced instead of natural.
Other Thoughts: I really enjoyed playing here despite the long hike and redundant elevated baskets and holes. The tree tunnels are no joke it will test your game despite not being long. Not a beginners course in anyway and not a course you play unless you want to get in a good hike as well.

Hike from Hell
Pros: Nice views and cliff drives that you can let fly..nice view of town..extremely technical in spots...makes you use parts of your game that don't get used that much
Cons: windy everyday up there...some holes 1,2 and 8 I think should be moved out of the woods
Other Thoughts: I like this course alot but don't play it much as I prefer the other 2 basket courses in manhattan..this course is difficult and technical

Pros: Practice basket near shelter is good for warm up game of horse, there are a couple of trash cans and a shelter here also.
For a nine hole course it offers a good variety of shots and much more elevation change than any other local courses. I get to use a few discs out here that dont get to see much action around town.
Good layout without much confusion between holes and although the park is relatively small, it is easy to keep your disc out of the middle of someone elses game on a bad drive.
Very close to residential area on one side and retail on the other, but it still has a very peaceful feel to it any time of the day.
Update: Brand new concrete teepads, and new course sign!
Cons: Although the Fairways are well kept, a misplaced drive in the rough often times seems to dissappear in the tall grass, however the grass is trimmed in the fall and presents no problem for a large part of the year. Although the short hike from the parking lot to the course is nothing for an average person to sweat over, I think a couple steps on the slippery muddy spots would be helpful.
There are also no restrooms on site, so plan accordingly.
Other Thoughts: Although not particularly impressive or anything to write home about, this course is a lot of fun. If you are looking for something to play while passing through town, I would reccomend Warner Park.
